On 4/11 I contacted ACPlumbing to troubleshoot a thermal shower valve which was ordered by AC Plumbing from Kohler during their first visit for which I paid them $92. The thermal valve was faulty. Armon, the technician checked it and ordered a replacement. Armon charges $125/hr and spent no more than 40 minutes at my house. I received a bill for $258 and sent him the following email:*****,I feel that I have been treated unfairly. You have been to my house twice. Once to diagnose the problem and order the valve, tasks that I paid for and the second time to remove the replacement valve which wasnt working and order a replacement. You had told me that the valve cost $400-$500 which isnt true. The valve costs $113.38. The warranty/replacement valve was ordered 4/11 at 4:36 pm, the end of the day. You spent at most 40 minutes at my house on the second call and I cant believe that you spent an hour and twenty minutes ordering & checking the status of the replacement which I did actually. Can we come to a reasonable agreement on the cost of the second visit? This is upsetting to me as I feel that I am being taken advantage of.Thank you.I then received a new bill for $361.38.

Yes I would like to start by saying that I went out to the customer's house or customers Airbnb to look at a problem that the handyman had created she hired a handyman who put in a cartridge wrong and didn't not answer any of her phone calls so she contacted ** I went out there personally myself and troubleshoot the issue and I was there for maybe 2 hours an hour and a half 2 hours at most and I explain to her that I would have to contact ****** to receive the cartridge so I took photos of the cartridge and her shower then I proceeded to contact ****** as I was on their website trying to upload the photos they weren't being uploaded so I told her I'd have to leave and upload them from another location I contacted ****** as I was at her house and I was on the phone with ****** for more than an hour I was on hold I was speaking to different representatives we were trying to figure out what type of valve it was okay she keeps saying that I told her the valve was $400 when the valve price has nothing to do with the cost of my work because I ordered the valve directly through Kohler in front of her and explain to her that we would be getting it for free because of ******** warranty policy so I've got all the way to my office at sat there at my desk for another 45 minutes trying to get the right cartridge from Kohler okay once we determine the type of cartridge we proceeded to order the cartridge we ordered the cartridge and I had the cartridge specifically sent to her address okay I waited for her to receive the cartridge through tracking our determined that the cartridge has been delivered she proceeded to call the handyman out instead of me to install the cartridge I says okay that's fine and I charged her $88 she calls me back out because the cartridge was leaking everywhere It was installed by a unlicensed plumber so I go back out there weeks later to assess the issue I take everything apart I noticed the valve was installed incorrectly and parts were missing I then proceeded to see if I can attempt to make it work I was there for another hour or so he had the cartridge upside down and damaged so I contacted ****** again now I don't know if you've ever contacted Kohler but it is a time-consuming process to get a hold of a customer service technician any rate once I've contacted ****** to have them send out another cartridge along with other parts that was needed because the handyman lost screws and didn't get all the proper parts for her her particular valve I ordered the parts this time to be sent to my house so that I don't get the wrong end of the deal I purchase expedited shipping which cost $40 so once I receive the package mind you we are waiting weeks on in for this product because it was in back order and their shop once I received the product they sent out one part of this valve not the whole kit that I needed so I contacted ****** again I have numerous emails numerous phone calls placed two Kohler about this issue once I contacted ****** again and had them send out all the proper parts for her cartridge and her shower valve I contacted her to see if she wanted ** to make an appointment for ** to go out she told ** that she had the handyman purchased the products from Kohler or from a supply house or Amazon because I sent her a link from Amazon and told her she can get this product there faster if you wanted to pay for it I was working off the warranty from Kohler and apparently it wasn't fast enough for and I don't know why she keeps saying it was $400 when I never told her it was $400 and even if it was $400 it wasn't the parts that was in question so on the cartridge it has serial numbers and the serial number that was on the cartridge is the serial number for the body of the valve so maybe she was mistaken to that at any rate we were still getting the parts for free so she was only playing for my time and my knowledge so once she told me that she had the handyman go back out there the third time purchase the parts to get it fixed I sent her a bill for my time and my efforts because I put in more than 3 hours on trying to get her the parts and troubleshoot this issue she's saying that I sent her a bill for $258 and then sent her a bill for $361 she is being untrue because I explained to her I said listen this is the bill if we were to install your parts like originally planned the bill would have been ************************* the email I charged her $258 2 hours of my time plus shipping which the 2 hours of my time was 125 * 2 would have been $250 The shipping was 32 bucks so I didn't even charge her to $32 for shipping I charged it $2.58 and said okay and I'm going to wash my hands with it and because she wants to take advantage of me because she's an Airbnb landlord she thinks they're calling the better business bureau is going to stop me from trying to collect my money This lady is on fair and she's untrue about the whole situation her complaint is false it's falsified and she's trying to play the victim at the same time trying to take advantage of our services
