Payment of $300 was made to the business on 8/13 in full in exchange for service on 10/6. Though their online policy states cancellations and no shows forfeit the right to a reschedule or refund, our party was neither- we were not a no show nor did we request a cancellation day of or at any time. The service began 10/6 at 10am and on our way to the service, we noticed their online hours stated the business was closed. We checked ******, maps and Yelp which all states the business was not open at 10am. This confused us as our promised service was at 10am. We called the service multiple times to confirm the appointment with no answer. We decided it was best to still attend although the business states they were closed during the hours of our service. We arrived at 10:12am and were told we could not join the service as we were over 10 minutes late. We were advised to email them to have our service rescheduled. I emailed the company 3 times- which all came back as undeliverable even though their email chain says respond directly to this email to reschedule. I then found their Instagram and sent them a DM, and a new email for me to send my response to. I received a response from the owner stating to refer to their late policy, which states we forfeit the right to reschedule when we are late. This seemed odd, since the instructor at the service said we would be able to reschedule since we were only 12 minutes late and had already paid $300. We were not requesting a refund of any sort, all we wanted was to transfer our credits to a new class. The business refused to accommodate or compromise in any way. We responded to a yelp review of our experience and they responded saying because we wrote the yelp review, they wont offer us a reschedule. This seemed counterintuitive to me as they had never mentioned they were offering us one, which is why we initially wrote our experience in a review. Overall we were promised a reschedule and did not receive the service at all.
