    Not a good place to skate. The ice usually is in a bad condition and not cleaned often. The coaches don't pay much attention on skaters. Groups are normally large (***** skaters) and don't have much space on the ice that makes classes ineffective. Once few kids were racing with plastic helpers through out in the middle of the ice, although it is against regulations that attached to the entrance of the ice. When I complained about it, I was told that if it was less then 100 people on the Ice, it was ok. It seems, like the policy of the company is to reject all the complains and the customer is always wrong, even if one is right.

    On the icetown website they are very clear statements in two different areas letting parents know they are not allowed to teach their children from the sidelines. This has been an ongoing issue with ***** and her daughter to the point that 5 different instructors on the staff had to stop their teaching to go over to ***** and let her know this was not allowed. ***** has also received an email from me in the past regarding the same situation. On Oct. 15th I came down stairs from my office to talk to ***** once again. Later that day one of her two former coaches at Carlsbad received a very threatening text message from her. It read: "Dear *****, you were always unavailable during competitions and the program you tailored for ****** had a lack of required elements (combination of 3 jumps) Your unprofessionalism already caused us to lose time and money and you continue to create trouble for us. To offend children is a sin and I believe all bad things you did for us will return to you even more. Evil and envious people don't live long life". I also received an email that afternoon that said "Please make sure this will not happen anymore if you value your job and reputation of the rink"In summary, after discussing this throughly with the owners and a few back and forth emails with *****, we feel the facility and its programs are not the right fit for this customer and her daughter. Another facility might possibly work better for them. We also expressed that we only wished ****** the best in her future skating endeavors.
