HP consultants was hired and paid in full to dissolve the timeshare contract between Bluegreen vacations and ****** and ******** ****** Since 2021. Contract with ********* has not been dissolved and further attempts to do so have been unsuccessful. After HP consultants sent us a letter of Release of Responsibility (see attachment) and corrected our credit report, Bluegreen continues to restart their process of collections. Thus far, HP consultants has failed to uphold their end of the contract to dissolve the said timeshare between Bluegreen vacations and ****** and ******** ******. See attached documents for accounts and contracts between HP Consultants and Bluegreen vacations. We are disputing $7,000.00 of the fees that were paid to dissolve the contract with *********.Business Response

We hired HPConsultants to help us get out of our timeshare. We had agreed to 3 monthly payments. A few weeks later they called to say The Summit agreed to let us out of contract, but we had to pay them in full that day. We did pay them. Now 9 months later they are saying we need to pay them an additional $1336.00 to secure a no negative deficiency judgement. They state we will not owe The Summit, Them or any third party any additional money. I had been told we would not *** any more money unless they found out that we owned multiple units. I told them I did not have the money. They stated that we will still be released but that the Summit will charge us 2-3 times more than the $1336.00. I have asked for proof from The Summit, they say we can not see that or have any contact with them. I am very upset that a year after I made the first payment they are now asking for more money that was never disclosed to us.Business Response

On 09/13/2022 my wife and I signed a contract with ************* to release us from a ********* contract with ***********************. The contract included a 100% money-back guarantee if the release is incomplete within one year and we paid the required fee of $1500. July 20, 2023, I received a phone call from the Vice President of ** ******************** ******* that I have to pay an additional fee to "avoid a negative deficiency judgment" associated with *****************After multiple phone calls and only after I received the written guarantee that there would be no more expenses and that I'm not responsible for further payments to **************** resort my wife and I signed a contract to extend the the contract with ** Consultant for one more year and paid an additional fee of $1350.I followed all the instructions as required, I never contacted or responded to contacts from ***********************, forwarded all correspondence to the ** Consultant, and requested updates of the status once in a while. The latest update I received on Aug 07, 2024, indirectly prepared me for another extension of the contract because the given timeframe for completion will go over the extended contract time. My request to prove that the ************* is in contact with *********************** has been neglected as of today. On Aug 28, 2024, I received a letter from a ***************** and forwarded a copy to HP Consultant on 08/29/2024. The expected timeframe from ******** ****** seems to be right and I wonder if I now have to expect another bill or, in case I request a refund of the consultation fee (within 30 days after the end of the contract), because the case has not been resolved within 12 (24) months, HP Consultant will end working the case.I expect ** Consultant to fullfill the promises and garantees made as documented.Business Response

** has reviewed the clients statement and we continue to work with the client and communicate with them often.
HP is at a loss as to why they would involve the BBB at this time when everything is proceeding as agreed?
In any case ** hereby agrees to the clients request to continue working on their case until final resolution is achieved.

Hp Consultant has not and, I assume, will not be able to solve the problem within the contracts time
frame. The response from ** has no answer to the question if and when it contacted ************************
HP does not answer the question if it stops working when I request a refund, because Hp has not solved the problem, in time.Hp has still no time frame and answer when and if it can solve the time share release.

HP Consultants still has not proofen to work on my behalf. I still havn't received any proof that the Resort has bin contacted and the fact that I received an other Bill for the year 2025 does not convice me that the Resort know that I want to be released from the contract. There is also no proof that A "Cease and Desist Note "has been send to the ***************** as claimed by HP Consultants. The first promise to get me out of the contract by this years end has been already extended to April 2025. My perfect Credit score has been damaged by around 100 points and I wonder how bad it will get by the time ************* has found a result. I have agreed to extend the contract with HP Consultants because I have been contractual confirmed that I'm not responsible for any future payments and that I receive the fees paid, back.
I hope that HP Consultants can deliver on there last promise to get me out of the Time share contract by end of March 2025.

As stated by the customer he has agreed to a contract extension. As ** has also previously stated we will honor all terms and conditions
of our contract with the client. Going forward ** would ask that the client contact us directly via email/phone (which he is currently doing)
to ask and resolve any specific question/concerns.

On February 7, 2024 I paid HP Consultants to liquidate my **** timeshare ownership. I signed a contract that guaranteed I would be out within a year. Yesterday I get a call from their financial department telling me that if I want to get out of my contract, I need to pay another $2000!!! There was never any mention of more fees either verbally or written. ********************** told me that I can't even speak to my lawyer any more!!! I want them to follow through with the contract and get me out of the timeshare!Business Response

We have been in contact with our client *********************** and will continue to work on relieving her from her timeshare ownership as originally agreed upon.

I was contacted by this company by phone and they said that said they could get me out of my timeshare that I have owned for over 30 years. I am 79 years old and they pretty much took advantage of me. I sent them the paperwork they requested and I have not had any resolution, nor have they contacted me after they received my money. I am receiving collection notices from the Timeshare because I have not paid the maintenance fees because I was told it was taken care of.Business Response

HP contends that this complaint has no merit as **************** just signed up with us to be released from her timeshare ownership via telephone on 6/13/24. She has been mailed welcome documents for her to complete and return to us which, to date, we have not received. Per our recorded phone conversation during her sign-up with our company, **************** claimed she did not have an email address, requesting documents be mailed to her. We have tried to reach **************** by telephone, however there must be an issue with her phone as each time we call the phone is picked up and then disconnected. We also had no way of knowing her age and she was contacted due to requesting information for release from her timeshare through an online form fill. We are confused as to why **************** chose to create a complaint 2 weeks after our initial contact with her rather than contacting us directly.
Our assumption would be that a fraudulent company is working with **************** to "recoup" funds for a fee and made this erroneous complaint. However, we are happy to work with the client for a resolution that suits both parties if she would please contact our office.Initial Complaint

I dont even know what a time share is Im only 16, this HP place called me and when I called back the lady said I was just calling to see if you wanted to end your time share. So I asked who was she trying to reach and unprofessionally she told me if you received a missed call, that is what Im callin about! Haha! So I asked her to verify my info and of course she could not! Its a BIG SCAM!!Business Response

Dear 16 year old, If you do not wish to receive any further calls you could simply ask the person to not call you any more. I have asked our marketing team to take you off of their call list. There is also the option of not answering your phone if you do not recognize the caller.
Thank you.
