      Work done on double door Springs replaced .. found out 2 years later springs put in were not correct for weight of door I was charged $792.88 Was told I had an older garage motor, ultimately if I hadnt been informed by new company the motor would have failed doors should have had 165 to *************************************** weight for 135 lb door Called Carmichael Garage Door and they didnt help me at all . Supervisor said I had a 3 year warranty and they would have fixed it .. however the motor most likely would have failed before they were called back because I had no idea springs that were put onto door were not correct

While we understand that you were informed by another company that the springs installed were not suitable for your door's weight, we wish you had contacted us first to address this issue. We offer a warranty on our services and would have been more than willing to rectify the situation at no additional cost to you.

      As discussed over the phone, since another company has now replaced the springs, this unfortunately voids our warranty, and we are unable to offer a refund for the work done two years ago.       Just had our annual garage door service. The Technician was professional and thorough. We've had CGD handle our garage door issues for years and been satisfied.
