The worst repair shop ever... I took my boat in for an insurance quote for outdrive damage, they took 12 days to provide the quote to my insurance provider. By California Law I can choose a repair shop of my choice. ******* became upset when I explained to him, I would pay for his time for the estimate , because they took so long to do an un-professional un itemized estimate with missing information according to my insurance carrier. And This estimate should only have taken 2 days max. I didn't want them to repair my boat at Robertos shop, he then, Hung up the phone on me. I went to the shop to pay them for estimate and retrieve my vessel. I never saw my hidden boat, he claimed he started un-authorized work on the boat they demanded full payment for another estimate I never saw or signed, with storage fees and other made up labor charges and fees....Criminal Charges for theft of the boat are in order and a Lawsuit is being filed for the unlawful transaction that took place, September 25th, 2024.

Thank you for your feedback, Mr. ******* While I appreciate your perspective, there are several important details that I would like to *********** ****** brought his damaged boat to us for inspection and to obtain an insurance quote. After extensive communication with the insurance company, we provided detailed documentation, including part numbers and photographs, to support the claim. Ultimately, the claim was approved, and a two-party check was issued. While awaiting the check, we proactively ordered the necessary parts to begin repairs. However, upon learning that the check was approved, Mr. ****** contacted the insurance company to redirect payment to himself, intending to take his boat without compensating us for the work we had already completed. When he arrived at our shop, he seemed to believe that no payment was owed for the services rendered, despite the fact that his boat had been in our care since September 9 and the repairs were initiated at the insurance company's request. We value our commitment to quality service, and we hope Mr. ****** understands that there are associated fees for the storage and estimates provided. If he chooses to remove his boat, these fees will need to be settled.
