    I bought a ****** sprayer and during the purchase I talk to 3 ace employees, none of them informed me the product was non returnable. If the product was quality I would keep it, it's basically junk. I tried to return and exchange for an air compressor the next day and was refused. This same ****** sprayer is returnable at *********** ******, and ******** I was baffled to learn ace is the only hardware store with this ridiculous policy.

    The paint sprayer this man purchased is marked with a bright green sticker that states that this product is NOT refundable or returnable. Any of the  products sold at Pete's Hardware that are NOT returnable are marked with this sticker and the cashiers reiterate the policy when an item is purchased.
    I called the local ********** to ask if they would return or refund a paint sprayer that was opened and used. ********** told me that they would NOT refund or return but if the product was defective they might consider an exchange. 
    Amazon and ******* are online businesses that will take anything back , put it on a pallet or trash it. These businesses should not be compared to a small hardware store.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    My main beef is no one said the product was non-returnable, not the paint the department guy who showed me the product, nor his helper, nor the cashier.  Also the sticker is green which means go, the logo is in a bigger font and the message in a small font. 

    How about a big red sticker with a large font?  How about you carry quality products instead of low quality junk?  I have since bought a small air compressor and paint gun which is miles better than the garbage you sell, I bought both from a different quality retailer because the compressor you carry is obscenely loud and you don't carry paint guns.
