    I booked a newborn session with Samantha Alves Photography for $400. The photos were taken on 6/23/2023 and payment was sent through Venmo. After the photos were taken, Samantha stopped responding to all my communications. She didnt respond and send me my photo proofs until I filed a dispute with ***** to get my money back. Proofs were sent on 7/3/2023 and still no final photos have been received. Samantha always has an excuse as to why she didnt respond. All of her profiles for her business have different addresses, so people cant easily look her up. I found her old yelp that shows the business closed because it has terrible reviews on it stating the same thing happened to other clients. ************************** I just want my money back, I paid for newborn photos to introduce my son to family and friends, hes going to be two months now.

    As stated in my contract turn around is 4 weeks you recieved your proofs 1 1/2 weeks after your session, and I told you your gallery would be complete this weekend. It also stated on my website 6-8 weeks i am a single mom of 2 and things happen. Unfortunately a lot has been going on and Ive had to take care of that.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that I no longer want to deal with the head ache of this complaint. The business owner continues to make excuses on why she hasnt provided my photos within her timeframe of 3-6 weeks listed on her contract. Its not just about the photos, its about communication. Had the owner communicated and responded to my outreaches timely, I wouldnt have gotten to this point of frustration.
