    KabaFusion delivered a box of medical paraphernalia to my house as ordered by an attending physician. I was not told what was coming or given the option to refuse any items. One of the items in the box was an ******, which I did not need, want, or ask for. I had already had the type of infusions they were going to do and knew that I would tolerate them, therefore an ****** was not needed. I have offered to return it and have refused to pay for it. I have contacted them several times. Each time they tell me they let supervisor know and have them get back to me, and no one ever does. They are trying to collect $74.18 from me which I refuse to pay because I did not approve this delivery. I told them they cannot just drop something on my front porch and expect me to pay for it without my approval.

    Following is the KabaFusion protocol when patient is admitted for service.

    Prior to a patient receiving a delivery, the patient is contacted to inform them of the delivery. The delivery is scheduled, and patient is also notified if the delivery is arriving via courier services or FedEx.

    Patient is informed of the contents of the delivery and made aware that if they are receiving a first dose of a drug, they will be receiving an Epi-pen. This is company policy. Patient's clinicals are reviewed at the time of referral and then in discussions with the patient. Drugs and supplies are reviewed.  Drug counseling is performed so that the patient is made aware of potential side effects. Again, for the first time administration of a drug in the home, an Epi-Pen (***********) is sent.

    Prior to shipment, patient is contacted and a review of drug and supplies are completed.

    The disputed amount of $74.18 has been adjusted for this patient.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and although part of the response details are untrue, since they are adjusting the fee to $0, I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
