I ordered an ink cartridge from INKJETS.COM . It was the incorrect type so I called the company and was told I would be refunded the amount of purchase once they received the cartridge. I sent the cartridge and have not received any refund even though INKJETS.COM says that they issued one. INKJETS.COM continues to tell me that I need to check with my bank but no refund has appeared.Business Response

Hello,
When we checked our front end, the refund showed applied. After further looking into this on the backend and with the credit card processing we saw that in fact it was not refunded.
We have now issued the refund back onto the original form of payment.

I purchased ink cartridges from this company on Sept *******. They sent the wrong cartridges. So I contacted them by email and they said they would send out the correct ones. But I needed to return the first batch. So I did that. Then I got the wrong cartridges again. So I told them I wanted my money back. And now it is October 30, 2024 and they have not sent out a refund yet with all the excuses that they could think of to why they didnt send my money back. So then I get them on the phone and they say. Ill have to wait 2 weeks for them to look at the cartridges to make sure that there not damage. She said she got the last return on Oct 21, 2024. And they still hadnt checked the cartridges. So I would have to wait. And I told her that I am getting in touch with BBB. She put me back on hold again. And came back and said she was putting in for a refund. So Im Waiting to see this transpired.Business Response

Please note that the refund was processed for the customer.
Our email stated for the customer to reply to us when the return was made so that we could issue a faster refund and that was not done, so we would have to go through the normal process of receiving the items and checking in before issuing the refund which would take days.
After the customer contacted and told us about the return we expedited her request and issued the refund. Customer was refunded: Oct 30, 2024 3:10:22 PM: We refunded USD $125.96 online. Transaction ID: "**********************************"

On March 10, 2024 I ordered a toner cartridge that 4Inkjets website showed was available. I waited for it to ship for 2 weeks and then contacted the seller to see why it had not shipped. I left messages and sent emails with no response. A week later I contacted my bank and reported the transaction fraudulent. My bank opened a case for it and on June 12, 2024, more than 3 months after the order was placed and my money paid they shipped the toner cartridge.Business Response

I bought a 10-pack PIXMA MP 620 ink cartridges in October of 2022.Since I was already using ink cartridges from another company, I continued to use them until the ink was exhausted. When it was time to replace the black and cyan ink cartridges, I installed the inkjet.com that I bought in 2022. The indicator lights for these two cartridges did not light up. I tried printing anyway, and the printer gave me an error. I trouble-shooted the printer, but none of them resolved.Since I bought the inkjet.com cartridges in 2022, they are out of warranty.I had bought the ink cartridges from several companies in the last 15 years or so. I had not had this problem before.I don't know what to do with these brand new ink cartridges from inkjet.com. I believe these are incompatible with PIXMA MP 620 printer, although the package and the packing slip show they are.May be we, the customers, should not buy them from inkjet.com.Business Response

Please note that we provide our customers a whole year of warranty which starts on the date of purchase. I have listed the warranty detail below as they are listed on our website. A customer can receive a replacement or a refund within that timeframe. We are no longer able to warranty a purchase that was made in 2022.
TERMS OF LIMITED WARRANTY
At Inkjets, we warrant solely to the original customer purchasing products directly from our website as Original Products. All such Original Products sold will be free from manufacturer defects (form, fit, and function) for one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Misuse, neglect, abuse, alteration, repairs or any action that is not in accordance with the Original Products use voids the warranty. The 1-year warranty only extends on Inkjets Original Products and does not cover damages of your devices like printer or computer, or damages to non-devices such as clothing, floors, tables, and related. This warranty does not apply to OEM Products or Refurbished Printers.Thank you,

I complained because my conclusion is that the product I received is compatible. So, I will not buy any product from Inkjet.com. The business offers coupons to be used on their websites. They then charge tax based on the full price of the item, not the actual price, thereby pocketing the differential. I called and was told that they've been doing this for 10+ years, so they have accumulated quite the additional income from folks that don't do math.I am in ** with a ****% tax rate which is what they tried to charge me on the full $75.99 item price. The tax should have been $5.33 on the discounted $64.59 item price, after the applied coupon.This practice needs to be stopped.Business Response

I purchased two yellow cartridges about 18 months ago from Inkjets.com and installed one yesterday into my printer. It does not print yellow ink. When I did the "test copy" it clearly shows that the cartridge is dark green NOT yellow. I tried a second on, same result. I called the company and they had a record of my purchase but informed me that the cartridge is only guaranteed for a year. I asked why they would not state clearly that their cartridges only last a year. Had I known that, I would have never purchased them in multiple packages. The answer was that they have no idea how long they last but that they do guarantee them for a year. I explained that I just installed the first one yesterday and the other one today so neither were in use even 24 hours. The answer was that the guarantee is from the date of purchase, not from the date of installation. I asked for a refund and was denied.Business Response

We explained to the customer that the cartridges have a shelf life of ***** months, however our warranty for the product that we offer for defective returns is only good for a year from the date of purchase. Our warranty period is listed on our website and our representatives can provide this information upon request.
The customer's order was from 2020, which is past our warranty period for an exchange or return. If a customer purchases the product way in advance before they need it and they go past the warranty once they see there is a problem with it, it is not our fault as a company.
