DO NOT enter into business with this company, The Engine Forge. They have provided us with 2 BAD Land Cruiser FZJ80 Series engines. They DO NOT stand behind there work. They tell you to address any claims with damaged engine with the shipping company, but THEY do not insure the engine for proper value, thus making the claim worth 10 cents per pound. In our case they would provide $46.30 for our poorly packaged damaged engine from The Engine Forge. They will not return phone calls. They hang up on us and tell us to only submit email correspondence. They have a VERY long contract that relieves them on ANY responsibility for ANY defaults with THEIR work. The engine arrived with poor packing and open to the elements with FULL contamination and concealed damage. They have poor reviews on ******, I8HATE Mud, the ********************** and BBB. Also, last years they sent us another engine with a cracked head and also would not honor a warranty. We should have not made the same mistake twice. They are GRIFTERS. Today's date is 1/29/2025

Just as the previous reviews state.....this place is terrible to do business with. The engine received, leaked oil from the oil pump hosing cover...immediately. It's an 18 hour job, and The Engine Forge said they will cover the cost of the **ring.....nothing else. The running core I sent back, was picked apart.....to the point that I received 20% of what I was suppose to receive. They scheduled my core pickup, without even notifying me....and the shipping company showed up unannounced. 3 months after the payment was made for the engine, I received an email stating that they accidentally undercharged me by $200. I explained to them that was unacceptable, and the business should absorb that. They decided to pull that $200 out of my core refund, and sent me an $85 check.....when I was suppose to receive $1000. I just hope the engine has a decent lifespan, as the rest of the transaction with The Engine Forge.....was terrible. Find another place to do business with.

I believe that The Engine Forge is deceptive and are eager to wash their hands of responsibility for the products they sell. I recently purchased a new engine that would not run because of a timing issue. They are almost impossible to get technical responses and was told many times, that all their technical specialists "work remotely so hard to contact or get call backs"? They make you sign forms releasing them on any liability in order to sell you their product and when there is a problem, they throw that signature back in your face as an excuse to void your warranty. Unfortunately I will probably have to take legal action against them to honor their warranty and recoup some funds for repairs needed on the new *************************** learned, but suggest you avoid doing business with this company.

Should have checked here first. Engine failed after one hour. Engine parts were found in the oil pan. Warranty refused due to saying that it was caused by synthetic oil. Simply NOT true. We now have a junk engine and are out the money with no recourse.

I purchased an engine last month. What fool i am . This engine was very expensive 5.7 toyota tundra. After Paying $3,2.000 For Insall. The Shop The So Called Employe Brian Highly Recommended. After Taking My Truck I Stated To Smell Oil Burning .I Called Brian. He Told Me To Read My Contract The 8 Page Doc U Sign One In The Smallest Print. Brian Tells Me They Will Only Compansate For The Gasket. I Said I Paid $6,500 Plus A $690 core Charge . So Why Do I Have To Pay For Your Mistake??? Brian Told Me Im **** Out Of Luck ! And Hangs Up On Me. I Tried To Call Him Back With No Response Back.Nobody Answers The Business Number.I Have Left Messages With No Response! I Took My Truck To Another Mechanic To Evaluate Where The Oil Leak Was Coming From Today . They Just Enformed Me The Is Coming From The Rearmain Seal . This Company Is Responsible For This . Now I I Have To Pay Another $1,200 to Fix There Problem. Of Course I Contacted This Company With No Response ! Im Really ****** Off Right Now . We Need Something Done To This Company !! This Is Not Right...... Now Im Going To Pay Extra To Have Other Tests Done To Make Sure The Engine Was Actually Rebuilt From The Start. **** From Simi Valley
