      I hate to give Uniform Warehouse a 1 star rating as our relationship was originally good. We had custom badges made for our security team, selected the style, color, center seal, and text, and we and our employer were happy with them. When one of them arrived with imperfections, the company sent a replacement. All was well.Recently though I searched online for the webpage of the research facility that we staff and came across a web store - in ***** - that sells replica and novelty badges. Our badge was there! The color had been changed from gold to silver and the center seal had also been changed, but ALL of the text was exactly the same! Imagine ordering badges for professional purposes, then finding it being sold as a novelty by a seller in *****? The knockoff badge even had the same actual maker's name on the back of it! No rip off artist who goes to the trouble of changing the center seal is going to emboss the actual name of the maker on the back.I contacted ***** at Uniform Warehouse and also messaged their CEO, getting no reply. A few days later ***** got back to me, said that he talked with their CEO and all involved, and that this was not their fault because they would "never sell a badge design". He suggested that one of our security team shared an image of the badge online, which is false. We're security, working at a lab, we wouldn't do this, not to mention the fact that lab protocol requires that uniforms with badges get put on when we get to work and removed before going home. We don't even have images of us online.Either someone at Uniform Warehouse in the US shared our badge image and it somehow ended up in *****, or someone in ******** where the badges are made did so. Uniform Warehouse passed the ***** making both their company and our security team look bad.
