    The person is my 98 year old aunt who has dementia. Her Name is ***** ****** her address is ** ******** Road ******* New Jersey *****. She was contacted by this company Atta Tech Solutions stating it was a tv up grade. She did know who she made the check out to. I reviewed her bank statement from Bank of America check was dated 02/15/2023. The check was pre made out by this company and customer authorization obtained. I am her Power of Attorney she did not authorize this transaction. She has dementia.

    Atta Tech called my mother, who lives in a retirement home, about upgrading her TV box. On 1/4/2023 she must have given whoever called information from a personal check (she does not use credit cards) as Atta Tech wrote an electronic check for the amount of $399.38 and it cleared the bank on 1/6/2023. She is 92, can live independently, but has been dealing with being scammed since early 2020. She does not need an upgrade on her TV box. Who charges almost $400 for a TV box anyway?? This company is nothing but a SCAM. I tried calling the number on the BBB site and of course no one answers and you can't leave a message. They have a facebook group page and I have messaged them about getting a phone number so that I can contact them. There is a number on the back of the check *********7. Not sure what the really is.

    The company called my elderly mother on 6/9/22 around 10 minutes of 3:00pm Massachusetts time. She was told in 24 months her TV bill would be $500 cheaper if she paid them $299.31. She gave them her bank account number and a check number of which they took the money from her account on 6/10/22 check #125. The Atta Tech & Solutions account number on the back is *********859 at a bank in BC. I have left a message, which I am sure I will not hear back from. :( I would like to have her money refunded to her. She also received another call on 6/9/22 at 6:05pm and they told her something similar and it had to do with her TV. She also gave them her account information and they took the money from her account on 6/9/22 check #125 (again) in the amount of $300. This company was called Vb Systems, Inc. It looks like on the e-check they made up a gmail account [email protected] of which my mother does not have a gmail account. This check was also from a bank in BC but the account number was illegible. Please help us to refund her money.

    Hi This is ****** from Atta Tech & Solutions. We got a email about customer complaint our service. First of all we don’t charge any amount without customer authorize. Her mother paid one time fee for tv and internet upgrade service and my worker told to her it’s one time non refundable. She agreed and she gave us bank details and after that we charged. Secondly why her mother gave someone to bank details to another company and we don’t know any other company who charged $300.00. If she want to get refund so she can go to own bank and get refund. We also have her mother voice  recording about authorization. If you have any question please let me know.

     I am rejecting this response because:
    I understand that my mother accepted it and that they may have her voice on record. She is 79 years old and did not understand what was being asked of her. She is not receiving any services from that company. She has received no documentation that they told her I believe that she would receive paperwork. She currently has a different service for her TV and Internet. No one has ever contacted her to change her TV service or Internet. There has been no other communication to her other than the fact that they took her money. And did not make her understand how the process was going to work to change her Internet.  I feel this is very unfair and that they have not provided any services to her for the money that she paid. I request that she be refunded her money. I understand that you told her it was nonrefundable but in this case she is not receiving any services for the money she paid.

    I received the email that my complaint is closed. I don’t feel that it has been answered. This is ridiculous. They still have not provided us with any documentation or services!  They say she purchased a service but we have not received any services!  They are a scam!! OleSe follow up. It would be greatly appreciated.
