    This incident happened on 11/30/2024 (Saturday). We went to see my daughter who was placed in a niche at the indoor mausoleums at Cypress Lawn, **********. When we were there, I found that her photo was being adjusted and her gold and silver bracelets and a red ring were missing. Immediately we went to the office to inquire and there's no manager on site to respond. Therefore the front desk receptionist, ****** told me to text her all the information so she can send them to ***** *********, Vice-President at Cypress. She told me to not file a police report until ***** speaks to me. After I went home, I didn't feel right about this advice so I called Colma PD to report. However they only take in-person report so we returned the next day (Sunday) and filed a police report. After that, we went back to Cypress and were able to speak with the field manager and a lady who is part of the ****** service under *****. The field manager told us that there's a break-in back in October (happened on 10/13/24 and a police report was filed) and the suspect targeted 4 niches for jewelry. I was very upset that they didn't inform us about this incident back then. They didn't try to reach out to the families. The lady told me that ***** will call me on Monday. This incident happened in October but at that time there's no one reached out to us. Today is Thursday (12/5/24) and I haven't heard form ***** yet. This is really disrespectful, irresponsible, and outrageous. Based on the nature of this crime, Cypress is supposed to notify the families within 24 hours. We are very upset and feel helpless. It appears that no one can assist us in this matter. ***** ignores our concerns and is truly disrespectful to our daughter and my family. It causes us emotionally and mentally distressed. It appears to me that as a parent I have NO rights at all to find out what happened to my daughter, but I have rights to advocate for her to find out what happened. Don't want to give a star

    Thank you for taking the time to visit our office on Sunday, December 1st, and for sharing your concerns with us. We deeply regret the distress caused by the recent vandalism incident. During your visit, our team, including our on-duty grounds manager, explained the details of the incident and the steps we have taken to address it. Immediately after the incident, we filed a police report, replaced the broken glass to secure the contents of the affected niches, and reached out to the families impacted. We encouraged them to contact the *********************** if they noticed any missing items. Additionally, we posted pictures of the person of interest to assist with any potential leads. Thankfully, there have been no further incidents since that day. We have now also updated our records with your current contact information and provided you with our managements direct contact details, including both phone and email, should you have any further questions or concerns. While we understand that this act of vandalism is both disturbing and rare, we are deeply relieved that the loved ones of all our families remained untouched and secure in their niches. We remain committed to ensuring the safety and care of everyone we serve. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust.

    On Jun 25-2023, which was the date to ***** my Mom at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park I noticed the casket, head and foot panels, top frame or Ogee, front, right edges, did not completely close down flat to side panels. Both edges had at least a gap of high or more.At that time, I pointed out to ***************************** and her colleague (male), but no comments.This is a defective casket! I Have contacted ******** for price adjustment reduction for poor quality casket, since Jun 29-2023, but no responds as of now.
