    On 9/1/22 I ordered a “Adidas Team Speed Duffel Bag” from kungfu4less.com. On 9/11/22, my order arrived and what kungfu4less.com sent me wasn’t an “Adidas Team Speed Duffel Bag”, but an “Adidas Striker Medium Sport Duffel Bag”. These are not the same product. When I identified this error to kungfu4less.com they attempted to place blame on some other distributor and said to send the product back to them for a refund.

    I immediately mailed the product back and received an excuse from kungfu4less.com that I didn’t include “all retail packaging”, and they would not issue a refund for the product they sent me in error. The “retail packaging” they speak of is the volatile clear plastic bag the product is shipped in, that is RIPPED AND DESTROYED upon opening. Both their error and unacceptable excuse to not refund a product I DIDN’T EVEN ORDER is a sour mark on the Adidas brand. It completely disparages the customer experience and discourages someone from Adidas products in the future. Adidas corporate and distributor management channels have been notified via email of this issue and I am awaiting their response. The hopes are that Adidas has management of their distribution channels to keep this sort of horrible customer service in check. The excuse that I didn’t send back a ripped plastic bag as the reason kungfu4less.com won’t refund my money for an error they caused, is completely unacceptable.

    Customer claimed we sent him the wrong bag.  We apologized and send him a free prepaid paid return label so he can return. From what I can see, it is the same bag listed on the website but the issue here is that the customer returned the bag with the retail packaging.  He sent the sport bag back without any packing inside a brown box. Again no packaging. We cannot resell or return this item to adidas in this condition.  Please find image link of how the item was returned.  Our return policy page clearly states all return items must be in new unused condition with all tags and retail packaging.  Please find the link to our return policy below which the customer agreed to on the terms and conditions during check.   We contacted the customer and asked if he still had the packaging but instead of replying back to us, he filed a complaint.  We were obviously trying to provide the customer with good service. We would not have sent him a free prepaid return label if that was not our intention.  We unfortunately received the item back in an unacceptable condition.  I will be happy to ship the item back to the customer or charge a 35% restocking. I will let the customer decide.

    * Kungfu4less.com offers a 30 Day return/exchange policy on items in new condition. Items must be returned in new condition with all tags and retail packaging. Item will not be accepted it the item is not retuned in the original retail packaging. Item will be returned at the customers expense.

    The retailer is now attempting to skirt their responsibilities to refund their mistake.

    This is patently FASLE.  It was clearly identified what is listed on the website is NOT what is actually delivered to the customer.  The names on the product are wholly distinct.

    Regardless of what this retailer "can see", these are distinctly different products.  The "packaging" the retailer is referring to is the ripped, discarded PLASTIC cover.  This item become garbage and discarded.  The retailer now has the product in hand they asked to be returned AND my money.  This bait and switch attempt by the retailer is fraud.  This attempt to refuse to issue a refund, while holding the product which was returned, is fraud.  The Attorney General of California has been communicated with regarding this fraud.  The condition of the product is NEW and UNUSED.  There is no reason why the retailer should not be issuing the refund for THEIR ERROR.

    the issue here is not which bag you received. The issue is that you returned the item without the original retail packaging. We stand by our original desision, Please return the packaging and a full refund will be refunded. If not a 35% restocking fee will be assessed.
