My mother was here for 24 hours. When I left her she was alert and responsive, when my brother got there the next day she was incoherent and unresponsive. We called the front desk to have them check on her and using their "off the shelf" Walgreens blood pressure cuff said her vitals were fine and left the room. My brother called me back and said she was still unresponsive so WE called 911. The EMT felt of her and said she felt hot! When she got to the hospital she had a temperature of 102, a urinary tract infection and a bacterial infection. She later told us that when she called for a nurse they did not come in, even her roommate was yelling for a nurse and was ignored. My 90 year old almost blind and deaf mother was scared and basically left to die. I have no doubt that she indeed would have died if we had not been in to check on her. I don't know why this place is allowed to stay open. Before you place your loved one in a rehabilitation facility do an unannounced visit. It could save the life of the person you are trying to help.

If there is any other choice that remotely seems better for you or your loved one, choose it! This place does not have proper ventilation, they leave people in diapers for over an hour in an unair-conditioned room, most of the food looks like someone threw it up, and the staff just blows smoke up your rear end when you tell them what is going on. Does not matter how many head this or that’s, supervisors or even the director you speak with, no changes. My mothers wound was open even though I was told it was healing and doing great, so she had to have another surgery and she got a UTI from sitting in her wet diaper while multiple people came in the room refusing to change her and turning off her call light. It stinks in there and no one seems to care. Such a shame that people sent there ti heal and recover end up dead and or back in the hospital. Pure negligence!!!
