      On 12/20/2024, I received the Kawai CA901 digital piano I purchased for $5290.00 from a Kawai Dealer. Kawai America advertises The CA901 digital piano delivers an amazing concert grand piano experience... From their Dealer: This type of piano sound technology gives a very immersive authentic sounding piano experience, even to the most demanding players ... the authenticity of the acoustic piano sounds in this model are outstanding.The piano I received does NOT deliver an amazing concert grand experience. It has very poor resonance, and the voicing is very uneven, with some notes louder and more strident while others can barely be heard when played with the same strike force. Certain notes cancel the harmonic resonance of others, creating a dead sound, though Im using full sustain. Though it supposedly has 135 *****, at FULL VOLUME this piano isnt as loud as my unamplified acoustic piano. My 10-watt, 20-year-old, $400 ****** digital is louder with far better resonance, tonal consistency, uniform voicing, and brilliance. I requested four times of Kawai America and their Dealer to return this piano. They refuse, telling me its just my opinion that it doesnt sound as advertised. But this isnt something only a musician could hear; ANYONE could hear this piano does not deliver "an amzing concert grand experience."The cost of these pianos falls under Small Claims, so no attorney will take the case. And who can bring a 162-pound digital piano to Justice Court to show how bad it sounds? This is how Kawai gets away with this.Kawai warranties the piano for five years. But after extensive discussion with their ******************* I realize this is just how badly these pianos are made. It cant be fixed. But Kawai and their Dealer refuse to process a return/refund. Kawai America is a predatory business which through ***** Advertising engages in a Deceptive Trade Practice to cheat Consumers out of thousands of dollars each, leaving them with no recourse.

      I purchased a $14,000 digital piano which has a manufacturer warranty and within the first 60 days I reported some faulty speaker and keys issue. They have been first dragging me around for 3 months and then sent down a local repair guy that had no clue how to fix anything and left without doing anything. Now they are completely ignoring my emails.
