    On August 11th 2024, my son was hit by a tow truck they insure. For approximately two weeks the owner of the *** truck refused to give me his information. My insurance company paid for my rental. After we finally got hold of them. They determined my sons car is totaled their driver was at fault. They have been extremely difficult to get in touch with. Rarely return phone calls and no emails. Finally agreed on a settlement offer. They agreed to pay for a rental. About 10 days go by nothing is done. Title was turned in when car was picked up after settlement offer but days go by and they say they need a form and someone else has to finalize the offer. Ok more wasted time. We get form and its a form to send title in which we already did. Finally get in touch they want us to send them the form as they dont even know what they sent us. They say to text it, Two different phones it doesnt go through so we email the two agents both of which said the other was handling it. More phone calls to them. Finally get in touch and they say oh its all good they agreed to a settlement offer and check is in the mail and it can take 14 days to get it. The next day rental was canceled. My son has no way to get to work or college. They couldnt do a direct deposit into his bank account. This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. My son was not at fault.

    On 08/28/2023 at 5:50am, I was going down a downhill slope on a narrow 2-lane highway when a semi-truck without any hazard lights suddenly appeared in my view. The semi truck was stopped completely towards the top of a downhill slope and was obscured from view until I was beginning to drive down the slope. Upon seeing the semi and realizing he was stopped and pressed down my brakes. It has rained earlier in the morning so upon pressing my brakes, I ended up sliding into the driver side part of his trailer. There were railings on both side of the road and the semi was blocking view of the other lane, so I would have had to risk a head on collision to get around the truck. I am being denied on this claim because the company claims I was not looking out for other vehicles, even though I was and let the adjuster know that upon filing the claim. I am also being denied for going the speed limit on that road instead of impeding traffic to avoid colliding with the semi that stopped in an inappropriate spot without any warnings, which is ILLEGAL. As a result, a vehicle that's been apart of my life since the time I was 2-years-old was destroyed and I don't have to funds to get it back home.

    I am reporting Athens Administrators and all of its affiliates. I have been bounced to personnel all over the country trying to get my claim resolved. This company is processing an insurance claim for its client, Allied ********************************* and ******************* LLC of ******, **. On April 21, **************************************************** which one of his employees positioned a work truck in an unsecured manner which resulted in the truck rolling downhill, across a parking lot and colliding with my parked car. The car was displaced by a full parking spot into an adjacent car and up onto the curb. The truck crushed the rear end of my car so badly that the frame was not only bent but twisted, the body destroyed all the way around the back, the electronic control module crushed and battery destroyed. The car is a hybrid with its drive battery located in the trunk so it was also damaged. The car was my pride and joy in that it was very economical to drive and made possible to save a lot of fuel for my commute. After that time until mid-July, I was driving a large truck, which cost me extra. The insurance company has dragged its process slowly and deliberately to deny restoring my loss. The initial offering for repairs was less than $9000 on a car that cost more than $20000 to replace. I am a careful shopper and priced a lot of comparable vehicles to determine the price. I had a car dealer appraise my car and provide quotes. The additional costs that have incurred since the accident amounted to continuing car payments for my loan, learning that the car was considered a total loss and my having to purchase a replacement. I have continued to cover my obligations. I did not ask them to provide a vehicle, thinking that they would restore mine within a month or so, at this point I have saved them $3000 in rental fees.
