In February ************************************************ ***********. As part of the set we had to open a **** account. A representative called us from what we believed to be part of ****. We set up the account and all was well. We then got a call from a representative stating they were part of the **** new customers service to show them how to conserve energy. We signed up for what we thought was a free service from **** as a **** customer. WE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. Fast forward to June and we received a past due notice from a company called NextEnergy stating we owed them for gas usage through ****.This is NOT what the representative stated to us. We were told this was a company that shows businesses how to conserve energy. NEVER once did she say we had to pay them AND **** for gas usage. That is the most insane/stupid thing anyone would do. We are a struggling business in this tough economy and a minority owned business who never catches a break. So why would we willing opt to pay twice for the same service? WE CAN BARELY PAY THE $1000 A MONTH WE'VE BEEN PAYING DIRECTLY TO **** FOR THE PAST 5 MONTHS.This is ABSOLUTELY fraudulentpractices on their part. I will also be contacting the **** corporate office to file a complaint there as well. Some one should have to pay us back every dime we paid to ****.Thank you
