On November 25, 2024 I picked up my vehicle (2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat) from EBlock Corona location. I had placed the unit for sale at their auction but since it did not bring any money I had to pick it up as they can only run it through 3 times Max. Well when I picked up the unit I found that it had multiple issues. After starting the car it immediately overheated to about ************************************************* addition to that the horn did not work nor did the buttons on the steering wheel. When I had dropped off this vehicle it did not have any of those issues ! I know this because I am the one that both dropped off the car and picked it up. I didnt hire a third party transportation company. This particular unit I was using it for months with none of the issues indicated above. I drove that unit over 500+ miles within that time frame without those issues. This leads me to believe me that something happened within those 3 weeks that the vehicle was in the possession of the auction. Multiple people have access to the car as they leave the vehicle in the steering column to allow dealers to start the car, **** check etc. I also found that there was items in the car that were not there when I dropped it off indicating someone was in fact in the vehicle at some point ! When I brought this to their attention they had me speak to a supervisor that had a mechanic check the vehicle. After that I had messages my POC and she said that someone would be contacting me about this issue but they never did ! I called about this a few days later they just gave me the run around and told me the same thing that someone would be contacting me, but again they never did. I would want the auction to at-least take accountability and offer a monetary compensation for this issue in an amount we can agree on ! In fairness since the vehicle had no issues at the time of drop-off. Even in the ** report when it was first dropped off it did not show any of the above issues stated !

Access to the vehicles is very limited, vehicles are not driven more than a few hundred feet and non-employees are not allowed to drive the vehicles.
Your vehicle was received with a "Junk Certificate / Non repairable" brand, "Flood Damage " brand, "Structural Damage" noted, "Biohazard" brand and "Total Loss and/or Salvage Retention" brand. The unit has 37 damage details included on the condition report including "warning light - engine, Severity; Unacceptable."

Our mechanic checked the unit with you and found no signs of leaks or tampering with the unit. Your ***** the vehicle and the vehicle did not overheat and you drove away without further complaint or immediately reporting overheating. There are no signs of any tampering, abuse or wear that occured at the auction that would lead to $7500 in repairs or any repairs of any amount.

We service hundreds of customers through our ********************** every week and rely on fair treatment of buyers and sellers as the foundation of our business. Your experience is unfortunate and I hope we can  continue to partner when you have a need for our services.

I bought a car from this auto auction. My decision to buy was based on the auctions inspection and description of the vehicle. Well the inspection and description turned out to be a lie. I feel that someone lied on purpose. Because the car is no where near the condition they stated it is. I feel like I was scammed by the auction.

I am a car dealer in southern Oregon and I bid on cars through EBlock auctions for my dealership on this particular occasion which happened yesterday 12/8/22. I was bidding on a vehicle and their auction platform system crashed and I stopped bidding on the vehicle at $3600 something happened and my bid went to $4000. I told them I did not want to purchase that vehicle for $4000 they said that I was obligated to purchase the vehicle and then if I wanted to resend my bid I would have to pay the difference between my bid and the previous bidder which was $200. I feel this is unfair. I do not agree with this. Also I’ve had nothing but problems with title work for the vehicles which includes lost power of attorneys, lost bills of sales Signatures not correct on odometer disclosures several different problems not only that I can never contact anybody there. It takes days before somebody gets back to me and I have to leave multiple messages with multiple departments I feel they are a very negative and unsettling place to do business I have never had any luck purchasing vehicles from EBlock auto auctions , which is an affiliate of Maconkley auto group. I’m extremely unhappy with the service I’ve been given. Furthermore, I have ended my business relationship with EBlock as of today 12/9/22.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 12/16/2022

First of all, they wanted to charge me the difference between a previous bid and my current bid which was not current because the auction platform went down and it kept bidding on a vehicle I didn’t want to pay over $3600 and they told me I needed to pay $4000 and I said that’s it. I’m not doing business with you anymore and I’m turning them into the BBB so they’re trying to ACH my account for $300 so I guess I would want $300.

EBlock has valued Customer ****’s business over the years and we appreciate his dialogue.  We understand his frustration, and sincerely regret the dissatisfaction with his bidding results on December 8, 2022.  We are committed to our customers and investigating any problems they identify, and regret losing their confidence.  Customer **** spoke with Sales *** ****, informing her that he stopped bidding on a vehicle at $3,600, but the auction platform system crashed, and his bid went to $4,000. He said he would never have bid that high, and he was adamant that he did not place that bid.

We reviewed the audit logs and the database with our IT Department to double-check.  The logs showed Customer **** live bidding against another bidder. It was the day we did experience issues on the app, but this vehicle ran 30+ minutes before the system went down. Just to clarify the bidding process; it is a 2 step confirmation bid button: so you click once, it shows the price, then you click “yes” to confirm.  The IT database records showed his bid of $4,000 was submitted.

To help find a solution, we offered to reach out to the second bidder and let Customer **** know he would only be responsible for the difference, to which he said “no.”  Our rules do not allow us to unwind a confirmed bid.  Customer **** told us to shut off his account. He had been a long time customer, so Sales *** **** confirmed with him that he wished to suspend his account.  Our Customer Success Team is always open for any further conversation or clarification directly with Customer **** to better his experience.  He can call us at:  (************* or by email at:  ****.******@eblock.com
