On Friday, October 13, 2023, I hired *************************** of Bobby's Epoxy Garage Floors to apply epoxy to my new garage floors for $1,400. I paid ***** $700 an upfront deposit for materials to do the job. I used Zelle for payment to *****'s wife *************************** using her phone number **************. ***** went and bought two boxes of the two packs of Rustoleum Rocksolid Polycuramine. ***** applied three of the packs that day covering the 624 sq. ft. of the garage. When he was done there were noticeable light areas and bumps in the finish. He said that these would go away as the product dried and cured. Saturday morning, I checked the garage floors and they looked worse than the day before. Bumps and light areas were everywhere. I contacted ***** about the situation, and he said that it needed a total of 36 hours to cure. Sunday morning, I checked the floors again, 40 hours after they were applied, and they looked the same as they did the day before horrible! I informed ***** of this, but he hasn't responded to phone calls or text messages. I have a history of the calls and text messages; I also have pictures of the garage floors that I can provide. I called Rustoleum and they validated that the results of the poor surface finish were because ***** did not prep the surface or apply the material properly. They sent me an email after our conversation. As a result of *****'s refusal to remedy this situation, I am forced to hire someone else to correct the issues. The floors have to be grinded and sanded now at a cost of $700 to remove the material that ***** applied. After this they will reapply a new coating of epoxy. I would like for ***** to reimburse me the $700 that I paid him, plus an additional $700 to grind his application off. I'm 65 years old, I've never made a complaint to the BBB. Hopefully the BBB can help me out here and warn future customers about Bobby's Epoxy Garage Floors aka ****** "*****" ********. Thank you for your assistance.

    Hello,

I did not receive a contract or agreement.  He told me that he would give me an invoice once the work was done.

I got his address off of the PeopleFinders website.

    Thanks,
