    On 10/22/24 I sought the help of Home Rental Helpers Company. I was charged $189.99 for service I did not receive. I needed help getting approved for an apartment with a low credit score. They sent me six apartments (their definition of a list) of properties to choose from in my area. The list was irrelevant a few apartments were unavailable the remainder were equivalent to crack houses based on the reviews. They basically ****** a list of apartments in the zip code I requested within my price range and charged me $189.99 to do so. No other services were rendered. I sent home rental of a few properties I googled for them to tell me if there is someone they can communicate with. Apparently out of everyone I sent them according to the case manager assign to me has no middle man. The communication was unclear. The follow-up was long and in between. Ive expressed several times Im not receiving the service that I paid for. I didnt expect to pay money to for 6 property options and then being ignored. I eventually negotiated on my own with my current landlord to get into an apartment. Whether higher security deposit and or co-signer (I) did the work of what I thought I was paying home rental company for. I needed help fast with finding a place that is why I sought help. However I did not receive help and now there not even responding to me. The only resolution would be a full refund for a service I never received.

    I needed help finding an Apt. I was told they locate Apt per my requirements, contact the property manager, and get application pre-approval. They sent a list but it was completely NOT what I specified. I told them this. They told ME to call around and I said no because your company is supposed to. Immediately felt it was a scam and requested cancel in 22 hours. The policy I was told in writing was in 48 hours. I complied. See all proof attached. I spoke with *** who stated the refund was processed. See confirmation. I never got the credit per my card company. I filed a dispute and they denied saying no error happened. It was never an error! It was they did not render services within cancel policy time frame and I requested my money refunded. They never processed refund per credit card company and created fake fraudulent documents. It was a scam and I deserve my refund. Consumer protection act covers me from fraudulent companies like this. I've been fighting for my refund since. Please help me get my refund. They are taking advantage of a single mother and a veteran in a hardship emergency situation and it's immoral and unprofessional. They never refunded the $289.99 that they stated they would after 4 phone calls too. ******** and I want to prosecute.

    Looking for assistance with finding my disabled mother an apartment that with the history on the credit reports I search up companies who can work with evictions. Company reached out providing rental services of being a third party to get a place. I hesitated many times calling them and asking questions after thinking about it for a while finally called ***** back and requested services was going to pay the up front cost of $189 to get started I stopped and asked her was it a scam and begged her if it is just dont even get me because I was already struggling so ***** said I send you some reviews and let you speak with my boss *** and h*** explain more *** speaking more like he was from the states seemed trust worthy explained further and even helped me with knowledge about evictions Went through with the services. Later that day I was sent listings that were just copied and paste to a word document and looked like very fast work and they didnt even check and verify if the place was even renting gained more suspicious after that requested refund and they said I could within 48 hours of placing kept calling would say we will leave message for *** Also I think they are switching names Also there use to be a BBB review on here but they mustve gotten it taken down

    I was scammed out of $189.99 for housing that I didn't receive.
