So.I tried to be patient and tolerant. I would like the recorded call (as stated by the representative that happened today, just before 5pm) to be reviewed. I have no problem making a payment but for my account to be locked and demanded to drive out of my way to make the payment, when I could make it online, is asinine. This also isnt the first conversation about this and I wont be talked to disrespectfully or like a child.

We have reviewed the concerns shared in the complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau by ************************   We have sent a letter to *********************** today, September 8, 2023, addressing her concerns.

I have no idea why a letter was mailed, which lengthens this process, was sent, versus just responding here. Has Wescom done their due diligence and reviewed the call?  The representative's attitude was completely uncalled for and now, Wescom will need to be responsible.  Do not mail me anything,  respond here, via the BBB or call me. No need to waste time.

    Business Response

We are responding directly to the Better Business Bureau as you requested in your most recent complaint of September 9, 2023.  When we replied to your first complaint of September 6, 2023, we mailed a letter to you directly as we did not want to share the confidential details of your business dealings with the Credit Union.  It is still our desire to honor the confidential nature of the relationship.  Due to the status/condition of your credit card account we are unable to ***** your request without first working out mutually acceptable arrangements.  Regarding the recorded phone call, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention, we will review the recording for training opportunities, and we will provide feedback to our staff member as appropriate. We encourage you to contact the Credit Union so we can work together to resolve this matter.

    Good morning,

I will not say I dont appreciate the attempt to keep certain information private, but if the entire reason wasd behind the egregious disrespect from YOUR employee, would it bite make sense to actually listen and not waste time?  Plus, if you paid attention to the complaint, you will see how your letter referring to something over a year ago, lends light that the manager didn't even care to actually read anything and THAT is concerning. The fact a business says (read your letter to me) that it is just fiiiiiiiine for us to be disrespectful to you, unprovoked and we don't even have to have any understanding as to reason, is something you should look at. I have no issue coming to an agreement, but over a week ago, I called and left a message for the SAME manager and to date, not even a call back. Coincidence?  I doubt it.....hence why I appreciate entities like the BBB so the public can see how businesses, like Wescom, have chosen to treat the same members they claim to care about. Who would have thought after almost 20yrs, that my credit union who condone that level of rudeness from their employees. Do better.
