    On May 16, 2025, I rented a 10-cubic-yard dumpster from ******, the owner of OC Dumpsters, for a 4-day period. I paid $395 in cash, and the invoice is attached for reference. After two days, the bin was already full, and I realized I would need another one, larger in size. On 5/18/2025, I contacted ****** to inquire about renting a 20-cubic-yard bin. He informed me that the cost of the second larger bin would be $450 for a 3-day rental. I agreed, and he confirmed that the larger bin would be delivered that afternoon. However, upon delivery, I measured the bin and found it was nearly identical in size to the original 10-yard bin, aside from being slightly taller. When I pointed out to ****** that he did not provide the correct bin and declined to accept it, ****** became aggressive and confrontational. He cursed at me and demanded that I pay him half the rental cost of the second bin which was $225, even though I refused to accept it. He then rushed towards my 81- year-old aunt and screamed obscenity at her. At that point, I had to yell at him to stop harrassing my elderly aunt and I cursed back out of frustration. Not wanting to further escalate the situation, I attempted to reach a reasonable compromise. I told him he could keep the $395 I had already paid and take back the original bin. Since the newly delivered bin was not of the correct size, I was unable to proceed with the new rental. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter in a fair manner, ****** continued to be verbally abusive. I told him if he did not stop I would have to call the police because I feared for my and my aunt's safety. He hauled the original bin away, then returned 10 minutes later and dumped all of its content onto my driveway. He even threw many items towards us. As of today 5/21/2025 ****** has not refunded my $395 despite trashing the content of the first bin all over my front yard and driveway. He also did a switch and bait and did not deliver the contracted correct sized second bin.

    I would recommend compliant filer to file the complaint for the company they have bad experience with.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
