    I wanted to rent a storage unit on June 22 2022 And when I showed up the office was closed. There was a kiosk out front for self-service so I decided to try to use the kiosk to help me rent a storage unit for the day. I filled out a bunch of my information and Proceeded to put in $50 which was part of the fee due at time of reserving a storage unit but something happened with the machine after inserting my cash it just malfunctioned and said it was unable to complete my request that I needed to speak to a service representative since there was no one there it wasnt an option at the time. There was a phone number listed on the door which I called and talked to somebody and explained my situation and she said yeah yeah theyre not gonna be able to refund my money so they took $50 for me for no reason didnt get me any closer to getting a storage unit and Now they refuse to give me my money back because I put it in a machine and didnt hand it to a person. They had a self-service machine that did not work no employee on staff and no helpful customer service number left behind almost like a scam hidden in the rough. If no service was rendered then fee must be refunded in its entirety by the next business day its now almost 2 months later and now the people that work there are ducking and dodging me like Im a plague and both of them said that the other person who is conveniently never there at the same time as each other that I cant get My $50 back and I asked for reasoning and none was given. So I couldnt let a business just take my money render no service and refuse to refund me. Especially since it was there malfunctioning self-service machine that wasnt working at the time. America is better than that and I hold American businesses to a higher standard of business they should always put customer first and never take money for no reason and refuse a Refund.
