    Overview: In July 2023, I paid $55 to Knitwear Doctor to repair a sweater by mail order. As of today, that sweater has not been returned to me. Timeline: Feb. 3, 2023: I inquired about services and received a reply from *****. Feb. 5, 2023: I mailed the sweater to Knitwear Doctor via **** with tracking number ********************** Feb. 19, 2023: I called and e-mailed about the status of the shipped sweater and got no answer to the call or reply to the e-mail or voicemail I left. July 5, 2023: I called and left another message. ***** returned my call and quoted me $55 to repair and return the sweater. I mailed a check that day. July 14, 2023: Knitwear Doctor cashed the check. November 16, 2023: I e-mailed and called to ask for a status update. Again, I got no answer to the call or reply to the e-mail or voicemail I left. February 5, ****: I e-mailed asking for a status update and received no reply. February 9, ****: I called and left a voicemail asking for a status update. ***** called and left a voicemail indicating she would send the sweater the following week and would update me when it was sent.Today, February 22, ****: I have still not heard from Knitwear Doctor, I have not received the sweater, and neither ****, FedEx, nor *** show any incoming packages to my address from **********. I'm seeking one of three resolutions: 1. Return of my repaired sweater 2. Return of my sweater without repairs and refund of $55 3. Refund of the $55 plus the value of the sweater, which was approximately $330 when new before damages.

    I am sorry to hear about this complaint. We've been in business for over 35 years and our customers is our priority. We are very busy and the unique services we provide by hand take time which we let our customers know ahead of time.

    We got the sweater in July but we were moving summer time to another unit in the same complex after being 35 years in one place.

    I told ******** that it would take a while to repair the sweater because of the move and we are very busy.

    I was replying on his messages, appologized for delays and actually shipped the sweater today 2/22/24 by mail with tracking # **** **** **** **** **** 36. I didn't know

    that he filed complaint. I'll call him again.

    The repairs are done, his sweater look great!

    I sent 3 cashmere sweaters to the Knitwear Doctor via **** Priority Mail for moth hole repairs. The items were delivered on November 13, 2023. I have emailed 4 times, left 2 messages and actually spoke to someone once regarding my sweaters. No one has responded to any of my messages. After seeing similar issues from customers on YELP I requested my items be returned to me at my expense as I was unhappy with the lack of response. I still have not heard anything. I just want my items returned to me. I never should have sent them to this company in the first place. Thank you for any help you can provide and please check in this company as I think it may be a scam.

    On May 17th, we sent a cashmere sweater with a hole to be repaired. This business is located in ********** but offers delivery services to out of state customers. We followed the directions listed on their website, completed the proper document, and mailed out our sweater using **** Per *** the sweater was delivered on May 19th and collected by *****. We have not heard from the company since. No call or email was made from the company to us confirming the arrival of our sweater. We have tried to reach out using multiple platforms such as ****** reviews, email, voicemail, phone call, contact form, and social media. Not only has our sweater not been repaired in over 3 months, but it was never returned to us and has essentially been stolen. We are requesting to be contacted by management immediately.

    I am the owner of knitwear Doctor and weve been in business for over 35 years

    We were busy and in a process of moving to another unit j in the same building. 

    I was surprised and sad to see email from you about this complaint, we always try to make customers happy.

    ******** send package for her boss with a sweater to be repaired. We have many packages from customers but Her name wasnt on the package and was very difficult to find hers but we did and I contacted her, everything is fine now. She said shell contact you and will remove complaint.
