It is important to note that if the call originated from an independent third-party marketing affiliate, we require specific identifying details in order to conduct a proper investigation and take corrective action, if warranted.Accordingly, we respectfully request that the complainant provide the phone number that received the alleged call, along with the approximate date and time. Upon receipt of this information, we will initiate an internal review, ensure the number is permanently placed on our internal Do Not Contact list, and direct any affiliated marketing vendors to do the same.We are prepared to cooperate in good faith and remain fully committed to maintaining lawful outreach practices.   I used United Tax Defense in the hope of helping me resolve Tax issues. I feel this company is a scam and takes your money without doing anything. I feel that United ****************** is working with them to take your money. Communication is horrible and when you manage to get someone they can't tell you anything. I am in worse shape now than when I let them take my case. I am now paying *** and also having to pay United ******************. Please don't use either one of these scamming companies.

We take all client concerns seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond.After thoroughly reviewing the clients file, we can confirm that United Tax Defense successfully completed all services outlined in the original engagement agreement. Specifically, our team worked directly with the ************************ (***) on the clients behalf and negotiated a resolution that resulted in the approval of a low monthly payment plan of $252, set to begin on June 28, 2025.The client's case has since been formally closed, and no further action is pending from our side.We respectfully disagree with the characterization that our company failed to act or communicate appropriately. Throughout the process, our representatives made multiple attempts to update the client and provide clarification regarding the resolution status. All actions were taken in accordance with standard procedures and client authorization.Regarding the mention of United ******************* it is important to clarify that they operate independently as a third-party financing provider, facilitating payment options for clients who elect to finance service fees. Financing is always optional, and clients are made aware of the associated repayment responsibilities at the time of enrollment. United Tax Defense does not profit from financing arrangements outside of the agreed-upon service fees.While we regret that the client feels dissatisfied, we maintain that all services were delivered in full, and a successful outcome was achieved with the ***. We are happy to provide supporting documentation confirming the resolution and IRS agreement, should the client wish to review it.We wish the client the very best moving forward and remain available for any clarification or final questions they may have.

  First, let me thank you for your response. I have a complaint with United Tax Defense for a couple of reasons. I was already in an installment agreement with the *** before contacting United Tax Defense. During the consultation, which I paid $495.00 I told them as much, also I told them my financial status. I was assured they could help me. When you listen to their PROMO, they have several different options in which they advertise. Since I was already in an installment agreement with the ***, I was hoping to get help with some kind of reduction. From the consultation, I feel they should have known an installment plan was the only way they could help me. If they had disclosed this to me, I would have stopped all proceedings. Since I was already in an installment agreement. However, they didn't do that. I was under the impression that they could help me with something other than another installment agreement. This is why I feel this organization is indeed a scam and is out just to get consumers to pay an outrageous amount of money for nothing. In addition, I feel they have United Consumer Finance (a scam company) waiting in the wings to finance this injustice. They kept me in limbo from August 2024 until June 2025 with very limited communication, just to tell me they had gotten me an installment agreement. I asked for all the paperwork concerning my case, and they only gave me back what I had given them previously. This is utter nonsense. Now I am stuck with paying $5,000.00 to United Consumer Finance for nothing. I feel these two organizations are working together to scam consumer out of money.

  I'm disgusted! I've given them over 9K and can't any response from them. The only way I get a response from them is if I don't pay them when the monthly bill is due. So every month in the only way to speak with anyone, or for them to call me, I make sure there's not enough in my account to pay their fee. My case has changed hands many times and its a different case manager every month. I just need to move onto a different company at this point! Since nothing is getting done and I can NEVER. Get ahold of or a call back from anyone there, unless they want to be paid! And the good reviews they get on here are most likely from their own employees! **** and ****** have ALL awful reviews! Not one single good review!

  So this company sent me an email telling me they have completed sooooo much work for me! Well I havent seen this work, and EVERY time I call them, I get put on hold for 20min thanks hung up on. I asked for my CA taxes to be completed 4 months ago, was told to send my W-2s which I did. One of the times they called for payment, they said they were all done took my payment and never sent them to me! So here we are again, they want their payment, and NOW are saying they NEVER completed those taxes because they didnt receive them! Just more BS! When they say they have reached out to me, to discuss my case, that is NOT true! They say that then just say we are waiting to hear back from the *** regarding whatever it is that they have submitted. They say this every single time! And then they say by the way we were not able to process your payment. I dont hear from them unless they are looking for their payment! So for them to continue saying that they have reached out to me that they have been extensively working on my case, I dont see it. I really needed the California tax returns to be done. I submitted everything they asked me for, then they told me they were completed. And now theyre saying that I never sent them the W-2s. This was all just to get the payment for me again. Which I pushed the payment out to next week which again you guys will be lucky if you get that payment until my California taxes are completed. I paid you guys over $9000. This is BS.!! And also not to mention. These people have threatened now lawsuit against me for defamation! Well, if you did your job, people wouldnt be saying the things that theyre saying because I guess youd have to sue a lot of people on this website for defamation because I can see that you guys get a lot of reviews that are like this!

  I was contacted by Mr. ****** ***** with United Tax Defense and was told he could help me with my tax debt. He asked for $495 to start looking over my case. I told him I couldn't pay that so he offered $395. When he mentioned "if I wasn't happy with the resolution my money would be fully refunded" I agreed. He called me a couple of days later to tell me what I owed the *** then asked me for an additional 6k to start working on my case. He was actually going to take that money from me without even providing me with an outcome. I declined and asked for my refund. 3-5 business days is what he told me. It's been about ***** business days and my calls go straight to his voicemail. When I call the main number if they happen to answer, they tell me someone will call me the next day. Needless to say I'm still waiting. As of this morning 4/18/2025 I had my wife call and leave voicemail on Mr. ****** phone(an unfamiliar number to him) he called right back. He was obviously not prepared to answer what was going on with the refund so he HUNG UP ON HER! This company, these people are CROOKS! The only way others will know this is and put a stop to this is by writing reviews, file complaints and report them to the right authorities. For those of you interested in doing so, following this post a second review with that information will be written.

  I was contacted by united tax defense and was told that they could possibly help me with some tax debt that I had.. thay asked 495 to start looking over my case, I didn't want to pay that so they offered 395, I agreed....they also said if I wasn't happy with there resolution my money would be fully refunded. They called me back a couple days later to tell me I owed the irs close to 30k, which was no news to me then asked me for an additional 6k to start working on my case...they were going to actually take that money from me without even providing me with a outcome......I declined and ask for a refund, 3-5 business days is what they told me, it's been about 9-10 business days and my calls go straight to there voicemail or when I call the main number if they happen to answer they tell me someone will call me the next day but needless to say I'm still waiting. Do yourself a favor and don't be taken advantage of by this company, THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HELP!!

  I paid money they never called me to give any information about my case I had to keep calling them and when I did get in touch with someone I wa told I had to call the ***. Then I asked be refunded of the ****** I paid the said they would but I yet to but refunded but they did absolutely nothing for and I had chase them down for answers
