    I checked out their plans and attempted to cancel shortly after. I was then charged in July, and October for $42. I was not made aware of these charges via email or notification from them at all and missed them because I dont use this card. They refunded me the most recent charge.

    Dear Better Business Bureau and Ms. ****************** you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

    We take all customer concerns seriously and strive to provide clear communication regarding our subscription-based service.

    Upon reviewing our records, Ms. ***** created an account with ******************** and selected a subscription plan. During the sign-up process, she actively checked a box confirming her understanding that she was enrolling in a recurring subscription. This process also includes prominent links to our Terms and Conditions, which clearly outline our billing practices and cancellation procedures.

    Our system shows that Ms. ***** canceled her own account by logging in and following the self-cancellation steps available to all users. Additionally, when she contacted us regarding the most recent charge, we promptly issued a refund for that transaction as a courtesy, despite the charge being valid under the agreed subscription terms.

    Regarding the charges in July and October, these occurred before the cancellation was completed. Since the account remained active, and as per our Terms, the charges were valid.

    We understand Ms. ****** concern about not receiving charge notifications. While our system automatically generates email confirmations at the time of subscription and renewal, it's possible these were overlooked or filtered. We encourage customers to ensure their contact information is current and that our emails are marked safe.

    As a gesture of goodwill, although the charges were valid, we are willing to offer an additional refund of $42 to resolve this matter amicably.
