    I contacted the florist shop to purchase 2 **** for a special event- graduation. Was quoted a price of $68 for a yellow lei and a reduced price of $28 for a white lei, she said she believed it was reduced due to it being not as fresh but would definitely be nice for event. I purchased both, paid with my credit card and arranged a pickup date and time- purchase complete. Hours later I received a call from the owner stating the reduced price was an error and if I wanted the lei I would have to pay the $40 more. I advised my sale was complete, i purchased at quoted price and believed it was required even if an error to stand. She said I was wrong and had to pay additional. She was rude and when I said I wanted to keep my purchase as was originally agreed and paid she said either pay the higher or she would cancel. I refused to pay more than I was quoted and already paid for transaction and my order was cancelled and I lost out on the flowers for my special even and could not locate others. I believe she was opportunistic and sold my already purchased higher due to demand and it is poor and unethical business practice. She ruined my girls graduation they were without the flower **** they really wanted to have like their classmates. Such a horrible business woman.and it is my understanding that is. It proper business practice violating code. Thank you- I selected no compensation but if is appropriate for my experience and to show her there are consequences to her attitude and actions then I would like to seek any form of both apology and compensation for making my girls special occasion less than perfect! Thank you

    My name is ********************* from Cypress Florist we serve our community for over 25 years . We never had with this kind of customer cannot communicate whatever this customer she reported to you I do not appreciate it shes not going to listen to me anyway so she threatening me the report and she put a review not everything she said its not truth ? Im so sorry to bother you guys I dont know what to tell you I try to my best but I cannot please this customer . And no matter what I said enough for her anyway . She threatened to me and the report I told her comfort whatever makes her happy

    I do not accept this response.  First what I described was a  100% accurate and truthful account.  She never made any attempt to rectify or compromise.  I was quoted a price, made the purchase and was given a pickup date and time.  Later she called and told me to lay more as the quote was incorrect.  I told her I already was quoted a price and paid. I was told to pay the difference to cover the new quote or order would be cancelled-  no working with me, no options and no compromise.  I told her it was my belief once something was advertised or price quoted the business was required to abide by their quote. She said no and that she would cancel order and refund my card.  I then told her I would report her to the better business bureau and give her a poor review and she told me go ahead I am tired of consumers not having any recourse and being given the short end of the stick.  This is an honest acct and her response dismisses what occurred and she said she couldnt make me happy yet there was not a single attempt to rectify the situation.
