    Purchased a Newair 30 Lb. Countertop Nugget Ice Maker and within a few months metal chips and shavings could be found in the bottom of the drip reservoir and ice catch pan sizing from specs to 1/2in chunks. This metal could easily be consumed and cause damage. After warrantying the product and receiving a replacement the same issue arose. On their site, you can see several reviews regarding this issue.

    I bought a humidor from them. The heating element malfunctioned and the heat went to 100 degrees, it cooked my cigars literally. I sent an email to support trying to get the part that went bad and they never bothered to get back to me.no response at all.The product was terrible and customer support is even worse.would never buy anything from them again

    I'd leave 0 stars if I could. We ordered a standup air conditioner from their store on Amazon. We hooked it up and set the desired temperature then turned it on. The unit would not stay running to get to the temperature we set. I called their support line and since they could not help they shipped out a new unit. We set that unit up and it did the same as the first one. I called support again and told them I'd be shipping both back and would like a refund for the first one we purchased.Since it was purchased through Amazon, Newair has to cut a check back to me. I was told it could take up to 30 days. They received the units back on July 18th, 2022. It's been almost 10 weeks (80 days) and no refund. Everytime I contact them I get the same response "it takes up to 30 days", when I point out that it's been over 2 months all I get is "please be patient". It should not take this long to refund my money.I've since filed a claim with my credit card company. They've credited my money back and are now going after them for it.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

    We are working on resolving this issue. Seems Amazon shows that this is refunded. As discussed in our email exchange, if I cannot straighten out with Amazon today, the 23rd, I already have a check request to get printed early next week.
