After receiving two Powerbuilt 4000 Lb. Uni**** Bottle ****************** in One on 3/20/2025, item #******, I noticed some issues. I wrote two emails to Powerbuilt as a result, one on 3/24/2025 and the second on 3/31/2025 and there has been no response as of today, 4/16/2025. See attached emails and invoice. I wrote basically the following:Mechanically, both ****s I purchased seem to work okay and came undamaged. On both of the ****s though, the hex head s**** on the flat piece on top of the ram was not flush with the top piece so a significant amount of weight will be only on a small part of the s**** head on the top piece. I ground some off of the top of the hex head screws to lower them. After this modification there was no issue but I should not have to modify them.Another important thing is the handles used to operate the **** are way too short! Although I was lifting a weight of approximately ***** lbs. or 1/2 the capacity of the ***** it required too much force to operate the ****s. It was no wonder why it took so much effort to lift only approximately 1/2 the rated weight. The total handle length is 14 inches while another **** I have has an extendable handle that can extend to about 23 3/4 inches which is almost one foot longer than the handle included with the Uni****. The handle included, when inserted in the ***** only extends one foot! I suggest including a longer extendable handle. Do you have a more appropriate handle for the ****s that you could send me?Also, there should be less slop or play between the handle used to operate the **** and the part the handle slides into. Either the handle diameter should be larger and or the socket the handle slides into should be smaller in diameter. Over time, especially, in particular, if used to lift the maximum rated load, it would seem that the fairly thin metal that the handle slides into would deform and elongate in the direction of the ****ing force, therefore producing more slop or play.
