    On 5/6/24 I picked up my truck from their shop following a smog check. When I proceeded to drive home, entering the freeway, the hood popped open, completely blocking my view and posing a hazard that could have harmed me and others. Luckily I was able to safely pull over. I called the shop right away, explaining the incident, and they claimed that they had closed the hood prior to me driving it. They said that it was not their fault despite them being the last people to handle my truck. My truck has never had hood issues prior to today. After closing the hood I drove back to the shop to speak with them (an associate named ***) and they claimed they were not liable. They insinuated that the truck was already faulty. Despite the danger and possible accidents it could have caused, the shop did not offer to fix it nor did they apologize or claim responsibility. I am upset at the lack of accountability and the lack of offering a solution to what could have been very dangerous.
