Going to your place looking at three older Travel Trailers, price between $15,000.00 to $19,000.00. I wanted to put $3,000.00 down. Then **** took me to see the 2020 ******* Lantern, it was in a storage lot. I was told it would be cleaned, I was also told this was the only one I could buy with $3,000.00 down. The three I had been looking at would have to have at least $5,000.00 down. Then **** changed the delivery date, telling me they were going to detail clean it. It was not clean at all. When at the office, the guy (***), comes into the finance office. He tells me he is delivering the Trailer tomorrow. I said, I did not do a walk through. He Said, I just did, everything is fine. You can do it when I deliver it. I am the delivery guy and the maintenance guy. Finance tells me they are going to make it look like I put $5,000.00 down. I was excited and did not think about it at that time. When I did think about it. I thought why he could not have done that, for one of the three I had been looking at for close to four months. However, made it look like I put $4,800.00. They told me I had excellent credit. Therefore, why would they have to do anything other than what took place?Purchased 9/11/2023, However I had to sign finance papers before inspection and walkthrough. One year later I am still unable to use my Travel Trailer. They told me, you can do that when they deliver the trailer (inspection and walkthrough). about fifty miles away. No generator or 50-amp cord was provided to check the Trailers condition, as far as what operational. Way too many issues with this Travel Trailer, for too long. They sent different people out to work on different issues. However, never resolving most all the issues. Replace the almost $600. fireplace with $100. fireplace. After paying $3,000.00 down. $287.87 per month for 1 year. I told them I was going to rent it out, on my property. They totally took advantage of me.Sincerely: ******* ***** ******** *****

Good morning ********, this is **** **** with KARV.
First I would like to explain our side of the transaction. ********* purchased a used 2020 ******* from us here at KARV on 9/11/23. When she first came into the lot she decided the ******* was the unit for her. We gave her an idea of what we thought finance terms and required down payment might be. Before ********* came in to sign for and pick up the ******* trailer, we called and informed her that the bank was requiring 4180 down. We agreed to pay a transport company to deliver the ******* to her property in *********************** because she did not have a way to transport it herself. Contrary to her statements we do not have a single person named *** that works for us. Even though it is not something we normally do, the walk through to teach her how to operate her new RV was done on site at her property, per her request. While the technician was conducting the walk through with ********* he informed her that she could not operate her unit with her current electrical setup because she was using a **************************************** order to use her RV properly she was required to install a 50 amp pedestal. ********* stated that she was going to have a technician come up and wire in a 50 amp pole to plug the unit into. After that we received multiple complaints from ********* responding promptly to every one of them and correcting the issue (even though ********* signed a SOLD AS IS/NO DEALER WARRANTY form). Once we replaced the refrigerator board for the second time, amongst other things, to further investigate why this was happening our technicians tested the pole that she had put in and it was wired improperly. ********* was informed of this and she was also informed that we would not not be doing any more good faith (FREE) work, especially since most of these issues were caused by her negligence. We also did everything required of us by the state of ********** and the California DMV, ********* has just failed to re-register her coach, which is not a responsibility of ours. She received her 2023 registration on 10/23. I have attached all supporting documents from the text messages to the contracts and pictures of her property.

    2013 Tioga
    Jun 21 at 1:53 p.m.

    June 21, 2023

    To: KA RV

    Re: 2013 Tioga

While my experience with each person at KA RV was very pleasant, unfortunately, upon final inspection, the vehicle did not meet my expectations. There were just too many red flags.

    My experience was as follows:

At Karv, I met ******, sales person, ****, sales manager, *******, finance, *******, Owner and ****, independent contractor.

On June 3, 2023, I met with ****** and he showed me the vehicle. Any concerns I had were addressed by ****** saying that the vehicle would be detailed and anything that needed to be would be fixed.

When he pressured me to give a $2,500 deposit to ensure that the vehicle wouldn't be sold to anyone else, he assured me that it was a good faith deposit and should the vehicle not meet with my approval at the time of my final inspection then the deposit would be returned to me in full.

Please note that the 2013 Tioga has been continuously listed for sale on the KA RV website up to and including today.

    My initial concerns were:

    truck - mechanical inspection

truck – structural and under carriage inspection

    service records for the vehicle

roof inspection – from the ground it looked like the roof had been repaired, ******* assured me that this area would be fixed.

    age of tires

    stains in toilet and sink

    smell in drawers and cupboards

damage to the floor in the bedroom from the slides

The inspection date was set for June 19, 2023.

    Red Flags:

When setting up the inspection meeting, ****** wanted me to sign the purchase papers before I inspected the vehicle.

When I arrived on June 19, 2023, the inspection had been canceled, without my consent, due to my not being ready to transfer the funds for the vehicle.

The meeting was rescheduled for 10:30 am the next day, confirmed with ****, who said he would get the vehicle in for an immediate 8 hour detailing, and ******. ****** asked me if I would have the cheque in my possession, indicating that he didn't want to do the inspection with me until I was ready to transfer the funds.

I arrived on June 20, 2023 for the inspection only to find that again ****** was not available to do the inspection with me. **** was sitting in the reception area and he introduced himself to me and said that he would be willing to do the inspection with me. I agreed.

After the inspection, I wanted to take the vehicle for a drive. **** contacted ****** and ****** said that I had already driven the vehicle. After some discussion, it was agreed that I could have a second test drive.

    The Inspection:

According to ****, an independent contractor:

the vehicle had not been mechanically inspected or structurally inspected. In fact, he recommended that I have the vehicle inspected and serviced before I left on any long trips.

there were no service records for the vehicle

there was no way to have the vehicle mechanically and structurally inspected before purchase.

The roof repair area had not been fixed and **** did not inspect the roof - I was told that that was the responsibility of KA RV.

The side camera did not work.

The vehicle had not been detailed and the toilet and sink were still stained.

The air conditioner intake and filter were clogged with dirt.

When opening the drawers in the bedroom there was a strong smell of mold coming from the drawers. I could see the main walls of the coach behind the drawers and that seemed to be where the smell was coming from.

The bedroom slide had a distinct “clunk” mid slide. The clunk was not consistent and only happened every third or fourth time that the slide was opened.

The drivers seat had oil stains on it which hadn't been there when I first saw the vehicle.

The vehicle was to be purchased “out of state” and **** was the driver who did the out of state purchases. He informed me that he was leaving on holidays for three weeks and would not be available to do the out of state purchase until after that time. Considering all the problems I had just had trying to get the inspection done, this was a big red flag. I didn't want to end up paying for the vehicle and then not being able to purchase it out of state.

As per our agreement, the vehicle in question did not meet with my approval when I inspected it on June 20, 2023, therefore please return my deposit of $2,500 in full.

You many return my deposit by reversing the charge on my credit card. If this charge has not been reversed within three business days, I will notify my credit card company requesting a charge back.

    Thank you in advance,

    ******* ********

On June 4 2023 I spoke to Karv sales representative about my interest in there 2014 Itasca recreational vehicle. Right away Mr ******* tried to coerce me into a deposit of $2575.00 on the vehicle to hold it before I could get there and see it in person, at the time I didn’t think nothing of it thinking I will get my money back if I didn’t sign any documents. Well I went to look at it and found that it needed paint on top front and rear top work on it as well as side window paint trim and passenger door handle needed touch up. I never had a chance to drive it for any other problems or mechanical issues.I asked for my money back and their financial manager Mr **** told me I can’t get my refund and that he had two people already interested in looking at the motor home if I didn’t want it. I responded ok on the phone and we hung up.
