    We paid $6556 to get our transmission repaired. When we went to pick up our car we noticed there were two dents in the front bumper. Something had backed into our vehicle. We brought it to their attention while we were at the shop but they denied that anything happened. They are trying to tell us those dents were already there. They were not. No one from AAMCO walked around the car and inspected the car in our presence when we dropped off the car. this is at least $1000 worth of damage. They need to be responsible to take care of this damage. Otherwise I will take legal action. Please contact the business and make them aware that this needs to be resolved by them otherwise I will take legal action. The car was in their possession for over a week for the repairs.

    The amount paid and listed in BBB document was for a transmission repair and is not in dispute as indicated. Complaint is in reference to ding on front bumper complainant believes occurred while at our center. The complainant is mistaken. The vehicle was towed in. Damage may have happened at that time.  At the initial check of the vehicle, however, the technician indicated/ documented multiple dings as well as the front bumper and rear bumper. The scratch that is of concern to the complainant is insignificant in comparison to the general condition of the vehicle and was present when the vehicle was delivered.

    I am rejecting this response because: We saw the Yukon after it came off the tow truck and the two dents and scrapes in the front of the vehicle were NOT there.  The only

    explanation is that these dents ocured  during the week that the vehicle was at AAMCO Transmission.  However, we decided to sell the Yukon so it is no longer owned by us.

    We will drop the complaint.
