    I had a reservation for the Temecula KOA for the July 15th weekend. 4 days out I called to cancel due to my wife being exposed to Covid. I was told initially yes, then I was told because it was less than 4 days I can’t cancel and need to reschedule. I asked for the next weekend that had two cabins together. I was told that they had a date in august but that it would cost more. I explained I am not looking to give them more money when I initially asked for a refund. I was then told if I wanted to wait until September that I could have a reservation for sept 16th and 17th since it’s the same price. The morning of I filled out the express checkout and paid 5 additional for one cabin and 55 for the other to clear the balances. When my mother in law arrived to check in she was charged an additional 187 dollars. When I checked in I explained the situation and the person at check in said that she would fix it. The next day I went back for a receipt and was told that she took $20 off and that was all she would do. I explained that I was only there at this date because they picked it saying it was the same price. At no point between July and September was I given anything that said it would cost more. When I filled out early checkout there was no additional charge. But once a guest arrived they were charged more and told there is nothing we can do. This is unacceptable and fraud reservation number 11***615.
