    Went to get a smog check as I just moved from ********** to ********** .Within five minutes the mechanic knew my car would not pass due to oil catch can installed. Ran the smog check anyway and soaked me for whole amount and also charged me money for communication for the mechanic to tell me it failed. Dishonest and should have stopped when he saw and knew it would not pass In California Poor business practices Wont be referring them to anyone!

    The smog laws in ********** REQUIRE an inspection JUST AS THE CAR DROVE IN. Your vehicle had very obvious aftermarket parts on it that were not CA ARB approved. So yes, the tech knew it would fail. From what I get from my personnel, you were treated with dignity and respect, no matter how worked up and belligerent you got. The communication fee is charged by the State and we pass it on as we are charged. Good luck adjusting to **********.
