    During the pandemic, my subscription to my hometown paper lapsed & no one was in the office( I was told) to remind subscribers that their subscription were going to end. So a few months went by *** realized that *********** sister had not been getting our newspapers.I phoned multiple times & was able to talk to *************************( I believe that is her last name). She said they were having trouble with the post office. I had sent a check for a two-year ***************** sister had sent in a check for one year. My check was for about $82. My check cleared the bank. I received 5 issues, all on the same day of August 12, 2021. I have never received any more, despite multiple **************** left to *****************, & lastly to *****. On June 8,2022 I spoke to ***** who said she would tell ********* about the problem. My messages over the last year were rarely if ever answered.I know that the Holtville Tribune is on-line but I like reading the newspaper in my ***** *** paid for a two-year subscription.I am appalled at the way this company is run. If they would tell me what the problems are & try to rectify those problems, I would be more patient. I think I have been more than patient as it is. I would call every few weeks, & get no response, then I started calling every two months or so because I had other things to do. I live 5 hours away. I even once went by the office in El Centro but there was a note on the door saying to call the same number I have been calling over the last two years.Id like to know if I will ever receive my newspaper. If not, I think they should return my money. But I really prefer to receive the newspaper in the mail, like I have for 40+ years. I hope that the BBB can help me. If they cant help me, I hope there is someway to warn other people so their money is not taken under false pretenses.Thank you for reading this.Sincerely, ( I guess I will not sign this since you already have my info)
