"The Investigative Group" misrepresented themselves as a legitimate polygraph testing company. They likely advertised their services as if they were certified and qualified to conduct polygraph examinations.I paid them $383.96 for a polygraph test for my wife, believing that I was dealing with a reputable polygraph testing service. In return for my payment, I received a three-page report that lacked essential statistical data or graphs. This suggests that the company may not have conducted a proper polygraph examination or may have provided an incomplete or inaccurate report.I attempted to verify the legitimacy of the company by checking whether they were listed on the American Polygraph Association's website. The fact that they were not listed there raises concerns about their qualifications and credibility. The company appeared in ****** search results as a polygraph tester, which might have misled me further into believing they were a reputable service. This situation appears to be unfair and possibly fraudulent, as the company seems to have misrepresented itself and provided a subpar service.

    Business Response

We have never done business with ****************  We did however conduct business with ********************  He came to ** with concerns over his spouse having an affair and asked for a truth verification exam, otherwise known as a CSVA or Polygraph.  I discussed the entire process with ************* over the phone as well as email. I explained to ************** that we conduct **** examinations which are Computer Voice Stress Examinations for truth verification.  We are trained and accredited by the single source of training for the **** which is ********************* and I have been a trained examiner since ******************************************************************************** the justice system. The exam ************* is referring to was conducted at his request on September 23rd 2023.  His spouse arrive at the office and I obtained verification of her identification as well as a photograph of her appearance for evidence of her taking this examination.  The examination was conducted in accordance to the training I have received from NITV.  NITV has trained police officers and investigators at over **** police agencies across the nation.  The **** is considered the newest form of Polygraph or truth verification.  This was discussed and explained to ************** prior to the examination.  A report with the findings was sent to ************** following the examination.  As part of the findings, secondary expert examiners also review the charts to verify my own findings.  This is done as a blind review.  The other examiners concurred with my findings in the report provided to **************  ************** emailed us one time after the report was sent to him via email.  He asked about charts and graphs, and specifically stated "anything else to look at like a chart or graph"?.  I replied by explaining the charts and offering for him to come review them in person together at our office.  To date, I have not heard back from ***************  I hold customer service to an extremely high standard and I take this allegation very seriously as this can have a wide range of affect on my business.  This is reflected in nothing but 5 star reviews on every platform, BBB, ****** and Yelp.  We do not seek out reviews, so any review that is written is from a customer who felt the desire to write a review based upon the service we always provide.  *************' claim is categorically untrue.  The offer is still on the table if ************* would like to come to our office and review the charts for himself so we can explain them.
