I repeated the price to them and was again told 135. i even called back & asked for a chipped key for my brothers car.The man who came didnt give me his name nor did he tell me he wasnt from locksmith lock and key. He worked for awhile then said to me"****** for yours and another 75 for your brothers" and i said "yes". NONE OF THE **** HE MADE WORK. He didnt bring a chipped key for my brothers car. My key fobs, I thought hed left in my car are gone. He told my brother, 125 he paid in cash. When i paid , i asked for a receipt. he said he was late, hed email it. he told my brother our receipt was together. I stressed importantance, because of AAA . Later i found out my brother paid in cash, i was angry. thought both of us had paid for his key. I went on my bank ********* charged me 290!! in total we paid 425$ I called him and asked for my receipt again, asked for the technicians name. He wouldnt give me the drivers name or his. He said he quoted me 145 a piece for the keys (attached receipt says another price} He agreed hed said 135. and 75. So i said that again, and he said the extra 80 was for my brothers key. I said hed paid in cash! So he said it was for a chip and jumping my car! he made it very clear it was not him that had done this, I told him i thought hed kept the cash& hes stealing from his boss. He hung up on me. He was extremely rude, and lied.Stupidly. Im 61 on social security. I check for good prices, have to. He said hed send the receipt that day. it was at least a week before he sent it. We quoted to cut and program a key for a **** Jeep Cherokee $135 per key.  Which is exactly what we charged for the Cherokee.  Please note that she did not have a key to duplicate wo we had to buy the key code and pay to program the key.  $135 per key is very reasonable for a mobile service to Auburn, get key code, cut and program new key.  The Jeep was completely dead, no battery so we jumped the car for no additional charge.  Both keys program as the immobilizer light went off.  I told the client that until she has a fully charged battery the keys may need to be reprogramed and we could come do that and get her brother another key.  But while my car was jumping hers the keys were programed.  The fobs she wanted programmed were "shells only" there were no components inside to program.  I showed this to the client and explained that.

Her brother did not have a key and the year make and model does not need a chipped key.  ******** post market changes to his ignition added a immobilizer and the chip was separate from his key.  We cut a new key and it also started the car with the chip attached as with his original key.  I told them I could try to cut and program a similar chip key but did not have it on the truck and told him to call and set up another appointment.  Once again to cut a new key for $125 is fair and reasonable.

I don't feel anything was done that was not fair and reasonable.

I am rejecting this response because:
I didnt see this email until the new one came in. The cost was 135. For both keys. I have called several other companies and no one charges that much   Id also like to say that the keys do not work. I have a brand new battery. Ive had them tested at a shop. They were not programmed correctly.
As for my brothers key   The chip came out of his key. Thats the reason why he needed a new one. Thats why I asked them to bring one. It is chipped. Just like mine. It is a **** Santa Fe. So his key does not work unless he uses the chip from the old key so obviously its chipped.
If indeed it was 135 per key I would not have had them come here. I would NOT have gotten the keys made by them. I found it cheaper. 135 however even doubled is 270. He charged me 290 and I didnt know I needed a jump but there were numerous cars here and they were my cables he used so mentioning that is *****. He did not tell me he was from another key shop. Did not give me his name or card until the end
Id also like them to know how incredibly rude and disrespectful he was. I tried to find out the information on the phone but he refused his name the name of the technician.
