5 starsThis company is the greatest. I have been using this company for years now. Whenever I need plumbing help I call them and they send ***** out fairly quickly. ***** is the best plumber ever. He knows his craft and takes care of everything in a timely and clean manner. He fixes everything the first time and I never have to call him to come back. I see no reason whatsoever to try another plumbing company. I am completely satisfied with Martel.Review fromJane F

The D.Martel Plumbing company came to unclog a drain in a shower on February 15, 2023.The technician was not able to clear the drain. He wrote UNSUCCESSFUL on the receipt and charged $229.00, which I paid. I have been a customer of this company for many years. My son and I thought this was unfair to charge this price for a job not done. My son called the company to ask for a reduction of the price. He was treated abruptly with absolutely no willingness to consider a rebate by the woman he spoke with. To say that I am disappointed by this outcome would be an understatement.

Actually, the woman who answered the phone did say she would be willing to refund $40 even though the customer did authorize the $229, ************** was on the job for 2.5 hours working to clear the clog. I told the son I would speak with my partner to discuss with him any further reduction - which apparently he did not tell his mother - I will send the $40 to the client with a note so she knows that we did tell her son we were discussing further negotiations until this review. *********************** - officer and the lady on the phone.Jane F

I find the response from the woman on the phone (****** the owner) unacceptable. If she was discussing further negotiations, why not contact my son? When she did call the day before I filed the complaint, she told my son she was firm about paying no more than $40
