      On 09/01/22 I was to receive treatment of my root canals via crowns. Prior to this appointment Gentle Dentals office failed to inform me of any costs I would need to bring ahead of time. Unfortunately no quote or mention of an amount due at the time of the procedure was ever given. I was informed by Gentle Dentals receptionist that I had an immediate amount due of over $4,000. I told the receptionist in a polite manner that I did not have that amount of funds immediately available with no notice. The receptionist kindly cancelled my appointment and told me that they would reschedule for the procedure. Before I could leave the dentists office I was stopped and told that **************** would like to speak with me. Shortly after sitting down, **************** entered the exam room noticeably and very angry. He was also in an extreme tone and proceeded to talk down to me, and berate me about my economic status because I did not have the funds ready that day. **************** failed to acknowledge his office's short comings of communication and instead called me a "Liar" and blamed me for the situation. As well as yelling verbatim "The next time I see's you, you will have every single ***** upfront and nothing less. Or I will not see you again. I have half a mind to charge you for todays visit". This was horribly offensive, demeaning, and ****** embarrassing as he made my personal situation public with his loud voice and temper. **************** was yelling so loud that the patients in the waiting room could hear and the receptionists as well. This experience was so traumatizing, that I have not been able to seek continued dental treatment because **************** made me feel like my dental treatment was too much for my economic status. It is my opinion that **************** should be reprimanded for the way he treated me as a patient.

      Started going to this dentist in 2021, started my dental work and everything was fine at that time except that they could not continue with my treatment because they went through renovations, then they wouldn't answer or return my calls or emails. I contacted ************ Patient which I opened a credit card under ************** to help with the procedure since it was going to be approx 5k. Gentle Dental received all payments however, they never completed the work. I contacted ************ and submitted a complaint to have money refunded it since it was affecting my credit at this point and I kept paying when the work was not completed in Aug 2022. Gentle Dental reached out to me and promised to complete the work but, that was more false promises. between their office hours, the dentist' personal life, vacations not only the dentist but, staff I have not been able to complete my work. Every time I have come back they want to work on something useless and charge more money. They have charged my new dental plan for work that should have been paid for back when I came in the first time. This is a scam, they are unprofessional, rude, and this has been so stressful it's affecting my well being. I need help asap please. I am begging you, I kept telling the manager ***** that what I needed was my front teeth completed and I didn't want to worry about anything else until that was done and I have never been treated so poorly and without such disregard especially after they have gotten paid. I continue to get bills for stuff that was already paid for. Please help me!!!

      During a routine visit to Gentle Dental at the ************** location, they said a tooth needed a crown. They said our part of the cost would be about $500, and our insurance would cover another $500. We paid our share, and they did the procedure. About a month later, we received a bill for another $500. We called and they said that we didn't need to pay that because our insurance will pay it. Another month later, we received another bill for $500, and they said it is just automatic and we don't need to pay it. So we started ignoring those monthly bills. Several months later, they said that they could not get insurance to pay, so they asked us to talk to them and see if we could get them to pay. Our insurance said that the procedure was unnecessary, but they can appeal and see if a different agent would allow the payment. I found out later that Gentle Dental had already done so 6 times. I got a letter from our insurance saying that a licensed panel of dentists reviewed the claim, and determined that the procedure was not necessary. So they incurred discomfort and pain that was unnecessary. If they refund our money, I will consider that an adequate settlement and will not pursue malpractice.As it stands today, they have sent us to an aggressive collections agency (QCI) that has a reputation for harassing people. Some have had to get an attorney to stop the harassment, and some have received money for damages resulting from their harassment. I hope it doesn't come to that, but I will stand up against bullies for the sake of the common good.

      This incident is regarding my 15 year old daughter *************************. We received services at Gentle dental first on December 9 2020 when we received a consultation for *** to receive braces.We proceeded to have braces put on agreeing to a 24 month contract and the estimated treatment fee was $6556.00 dollars. *** was seen regularly at this orthodontist with same doctor *************************** for her entire time she was wearing braces when we started noticing her teeth changing and her front lower teeth started protruding severely forward causing changes in her facial and mouth features, I inquired several times during her course of treatment over the last 2 years asking many questions about the changes. and if this was normal and was told by ************* that this was all part of the process.In January of 2023 we were supposed to nearing the end of the 24 month treatment plan when we received several phone calls from the clinic canceling appointments, when we were finally able to reschedule appointments we found out from the other employees that ************* was no longer at the clinic and the *** would be seeing another orthodontist from one of their other offices from ******** **********. When the other orthodontist came to evaluate ***s case he told me that ***s front teeth on the bottom were severely protruding and that this far in her treatment she should have been seeking other methods and that he found that this ************* had been negligent in her handling of this case that she had not addressed any of the issues that arose during the 24 months.I then spoke to the office manager by the name of ********************* multiple times and even after several evaluations at their **************** The only way to fix these problems were to now have *** undergo Jaw surgery which also now included the removal of 6 teeth. I was contacted by another manager ************************* and told to send estimates. *** will need need care for another ******************************** the amount of $9555.00 further care

      I am not exactly sure when it began about November 2022. I had gone to the dentist to replace a partial that i had broken. They proceded to make a mpould and a replacement. They screwed up the first mold and 2 weeks later made another mold and two weeks later i cam back to get the partial and it did not fit. We did this three times until the Dentist said that they were having trouble with the lab and he said that they would give me a full refund in 2 to 4 weeks. The ampount was $ ********. After 4 1/2 weeks i still had not received the money so I failed fraud with my credit card company and about 3 weeks later they reversed the charges for the $1,010.00 on their card. The other $500.00 has yet to be returned. The parent company sent me a settlement agreement to sign if I wanted my money back. If i wanted my money back i had to sign a non disclosure agreement.

      The date this occurred was March 29th 2023 around 2pm. I have been waiting since September to come in to get fillings done for my teeth being since the dentist told me I had 3 fillings I needed done back in September. I have two teeth that are very sensitive and that have been causing me a lot of pain. The dentist that I saw was not the same one from before. She told me Im in pain from clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth, but my tooth is so worn down I cant eat anything on the side it is on. I made that very clear several times. They took x-rays to double check and she told me my nerve was agitated and swollen, but refused to fix my tooth. I went there for no reason and was sent home in tears because Ive been waiting for this forever. I wasnt offered an alternative like pain medicine or anything. The only thing they offered was to make me a night guard for my teeth, but then proceeded to tell me to get one at the store first. My whole appointment was rushed and I felt like they didnt care at all about the pain and suffering Ive been going through. My sister was also seen at this gentle dental about a week ago and they were so rough with her mouth she bled and has wounds in her mouth. She complained to the business and they did nothing about it, so that is why Im complaining here.

      Absolutely outrageous and unprofessional on billing on an appt that I did not even went to or perform anything. Long story short to my surprise I received a bill earlier this month for a no included by insurance bill that sky rocketed my total from originally $200-300 ish for 3 filling to $500-$600 ish now (full coverage attached in pic I took on 7th when 12/23 werent even there) Then I was like ok fine ig Ill pay for it asap when I get my next paycheck. Then today, 3/29th to my surprise I noticed an unauthorized, yes you heard me right unauthorized billing for an appt that I did not even went for that costs over 2k (As attached from sec pic, 12/23 just suddenly appeared from no where) And guess what I bet its new too as it was not even included within the March billing they send me too. Not to mentioned I did not even visit the office on the 12/23rd in the first place. Good thing I kept screen shots earlier this month by the 7th and can compares the two. Really Disappointed bc the dentist here were amazing but the billing department or at least the front desk seems to be a hot mess.

      For multiple reasons, Gentle Dental should refund the $50 visit for this past Tuesday on March 15, 2023. Here are the reasons:1. Before confirming the appointment, was told over the phone that the treatment plan would have language that if insurer reneged on pre-determination/pre-authorization, that the patient would be responsible for the lower amount. I asked not once, but twice for those comments to be included while in the office, and that did not happen.2. I stated at least three times that molar removal was not a priority; to both dental assistant and dentist, and yet despite this request, the initial treatment plan included a molar removal.3. Freakishly odd behavior of dentist, who walked in patient room without really and acknowledgement, and proceeded to go over issues while talking in a different direction. This lack of salutation was disturbing and creates a lack of confidence to go forward with various treatments.4. The insistence that about 35 minutes was all that was necessary time for a deep clean?Kindly confirm that the visit fee will be refunded immediately. The obvious consequences are multiple. Fraud dispute with ****************, notification to multiple consumer agencies, and outreach to various online reviews. Ultimately, this visit was of consequence to me, since additional leg work will have to be done to have another office complete this undertaking with more consistency, honesty and sincerity.

      *** called repeatedly and left messages for billing office in ******** Valley ** to call me re:being billed for unknown charge of $3202. No one will return my call. On 9/16/2022 I opened CareCredit account while in dental chair at Gentle Dental ******** Valley CA location for payment on 2 crowns on 2 front teeth. I signed a paid in full statement at dentist. I was billed on that date, but once received statement, showed was paid to Gental Dental ********* *******, ** which Ive never been. I then started receiving bills beginning in October 2022 for $3202. for two front crowns. I sent letter to corporate office in ********* **, pleading for someone to help me. I received a response from a *******************************, who was very helpful. I emailed her my Care Credit statement and dental insurance information. We exchanged emails and she called telling me it was a mistake, and I had zero balance. Ive now received 2 more bills for $3202. each time. Ive emailed and called ******************************* in ********* ** numerous times with no response. The dental office will not respond. I have a voicemail from ******************************* stating I have zero balance, but keep receiving bills. Please contact me re:ongoing bills to resolve. This is causing constant anxiety and needs to cease.
