Dear BBB,This is a formal complaint against The Dolly Llama Waffle Master store located at **************************************************************************************************. The purpose of this complaint is to report a refusal from the vendor to acknowledge a gift card that was purchased for $105.00 via their website.Website Link: ***************************************************************** The gift card was purchased digitally by my co-workers on May 1st, 2024 for my birthday. I received the digital gift card via email on May 1st 2024. On May 4th, 2024, around noon, I placed a phone call to the vendor to inquire if I can convert the credits on the digital gift card to a physical gift card that they offer in their store. The vendor employee, via phone, stated that this was acceptable. In between 12:30pm - 12:45pm, on May 4th, 2024, I visited the vendor location and requested to have my gift card balance of $105.00 converted into a physical gift card. I showed the vendor employee the confirmation email of the digital gift card my co-workers purchased for me.The email included a gift card number and pin number. Please see below:Gift Card Number: ******************* PIN Number: ******** The email also included the logo of the vendor and the email address featured on the vendor website which offers customers the opportunity to purchase gift cards. The vendor employee asked me multiple times if I bought the gift card in which i explained it was a gift from co-workers. The vendor employee viewed the email, which is from the same address as their website, took a picture of the confirmation email and contacted his manager and shared a screen shot of the email. The vendor employee stated that the manager refuses the gift card. I am requesting a refund for my co-workers and I'm currently communicating with them to provide assistance to accomplish this effort. The gift card was legally purchased from the vendor website and not accepted by the vendor which is fraud. Please see attachment.
