6/19/2023: I turned in my girlfriend's mother's 2007 ***** C70 T-5 to Encinitas *********** Repair for Smog Check Catalytic Converter failure. The individual working there told me that the vehicle's Oxygen Sensors had gone bad and suggested that they be replaced. I said yes and had them replaced. The next day I scheduled another smog check for the vehicle and it failed again. The next months I spent time trying to find advice on how to fix the car's issue from different mechanic shops.; however, I found no luck. 8/30/2023: Finally, after another smog check failure. The owner of the vehicle, ***********************, asked me to take her car to another shop. I turned in the ***** to ********** Autohaus. Where the Manager , *******, asked if we ever replaced the oxygen sensor to which I said I yes. The shop completed various maintenance evolution's from Spark Plug replacements to Fuel Induction cleanings. Unfortunately, none of these worked. ******* suggested that they replace the Oxygen Sensors due to a high voltage reading. I was hesitant but reluctantly agreed to the service. She called me on September, 25, 2023 and said that the oxygen sensor replacement had worked and the vehicle was smog ready. Later that day the car passed smog inspections. ******* also provided me with pictures of the old O2 sensors which Encinitas *********** Repair installed. Saying that they were either deflective or never replaced to which shocked me. 10/02/2023: I called Encinitas *********** Repair and *************************( Manager) answered and I explained the situation to him and politely asked for a refund. He said no and could only provide a free smog check in the future. After spending $2117.27 at ******************* for a repair that Encinitas *********** Repair did incorrectly it is quite frustrating and disheartening for ***********************. It would seem only right for Encinitas *********** Repair to accept responsibility!

I schedule an oil change for 08/15/2023 9:30 am, showed up and showed a coupon from the business' website. It stated the cost of the service at $19.99. I saved a screenshot of the coupon, attached. The mechanic was unable to enter the coupon into the computer, so called the owner, ***************************, **** license #********. He told the mechanic that the coupon should not be on the site and would not honor it. I took my car elsewhere, gave them a coupon from their site, which they honored and completed the service. This is fraudulent, false advertising, and the owner should be held accountable. The coupon is still on the site today, 08/16/2023.
