I read the complaint about the paid time off & it had me thinking. I worked for this company when there was 5 years I was fresh out of high. The company was opening stores left & right but with rapid growth more responsibilities came. Particularly in the HR department, who consisted at the time of the owners & the DM. When concerning HR issues came about they were the final answer. I had been with the company for 1.5 years working my way up from a cashier to a supervisor opening the ********* location & then moving to ************. With rapid growth came promoting within the company. So when my particularly store manager was promoted to a bigger volume location it was awesome to see the employee growth. A new store manager and new assistant came to my location (i started from the bottom up, and a new ** from a crispy cream came in). It was awesome being able to train and with NO short cuts, so I thought. I loved training because it was a reflection of myself and my work ethics. I enjoyed training the new A** he heard me and didn't see me as a young kid telling him what to do. The ** on the other hand was to much. We bumped heads so much I informed the DM numerous times and nothing was done. At this time I would say I've been with company 3years and was put in a new role as the catering manager. It was good because I didn't work with the new ** much. Again, my DM was well aware of the situation even my new A** noticed. One day the ** and A** were having a conversation by Togo station were i needed to finalize my catering order. I walked pass the swinging door to hear the ** say, & I quote, "****** is a BITCH". The A** was just as shocked as I was. I told my DM, & so did my A**. The "HR" team allowed the ** to stay & transfter me, eventually firing me 3 months later ( after 5 years) I was young & didnt realize what really happen. If I would of known then what I do now I would of sued the h*** out of them. I just hope no one has to deal with similar situations.
