Approx 11/19/23 we met with Specialty Builder(SB) for backyard landscaping. Agreed upon; Cement work, Patio Cover, Plumbing with sprinkler system, Landscaping including grass. I am rejecting this response because: I too have heard these same sentiments from Specialty Builders (via telephone). They have failed to follow through with their statements.

I have paid out of pocket on 2 occasions to replace broken pipes. The last plumber stated to me(in person) and finance company (via telephone), that the pipes used are substandard and will all burst under the water pressure.

We need this project redone up to standard.

      Sincerely,

      ***** And ****** *****

Date of Transaction: Oct 24,2023; What the business committed to provide: To complete the patio project including the drawings that needs to be submitted to our HOA; Nature of the dispute: No drawings was given even after the project was done. Ive been trying to call the company/project manager and sending email and they were claiming that per their records they havent completed a patio cover, from my email I mentioned about patio project and not patio cover, they were using the term cover thats why they were saying that there was no record in their end, but my email is very clear, and the project manager knows what the patio project was done. Ive been contacting the company but never responded for how many weeks and even the project manager is ignoring my calls. They even informed me that the project has a lifetime warranty.

Good Afternoon, this client gave us a call complaining about a patio cover. She doesnt know English too well and she was getting upset about the fact that I cant understand her.

Specialty Builders as a company was always in contact with this client and trying to help her. We sent over many people to her property to try to fix things. We ended up giving her whatever she needed.

This complaint is unreasonable. Of course, we want our clients satisfied and happy.

I was contacted bye phone bye this company to do work in my backyard they represented themselves as working with and in connection with government programs to go green and that I would be easily financed with Good Leap financing yet they ran my credit with three different financing agencies. I was approved for ****** to add artificial grass and a stone fire pit in my back yard I went over the plans with the two gentleman that came to my house ***** and **** we went over what they offered they told me they would remove up to ***** inches of soil which did not and add base which they did. The grading was done poorly many high and low spots some areas didnt have nails to hold grass down or staples the turf was cut short in some areas and no drain was added the drains they did touch they added pipe so now they are above level so rain will bye pass the drain the slope on on side is so steep the water goes towards the house. I have made several attempts to have them come fix it they said workers that are told to do the opposite of what we agreed needs to be fixed they did fix the fire pit but that took awhile as well. I have had at least 3-4 of their sub contractors come and tell me the exact same thing it has to be redone but they wont do it cause if they touch it then specialty builders wont pay them. So they have no incentive to fix it correctly. But for some reason Im being told Im the problem and they are threatening me with a lean on my property if I dont pay them but my financial obligation is to good leap who approved me not Specialty Builders. I was told *** **** and ***** that I have 90 days from the job completion to make payment with good leap so dont understand why now they come with a lean after completion for money that is owed to another financial institution. ***** told me that they will not fix it the way each contractor said it needs to be done. They have been less than professional at every turn I have been more than patient with them.
