    *********************** (Wigs by Vee) charged me $4,291.19 for a cranial prosthetic aka bespoke wig back on 31 May 2024.We agreed that the finished product would be ready for pickup by mid-June. I asked for a photo on 17 June to see progress.Radio silence.Rather than be forthcoming about factors impacting the ability to deliver product by previously agreed due date, *** waited until the pick up date to inform me that my product was not ready because she was sick and the hair colorist was "slammed".Nonetheless, I decided to give *** the opportunity to make good on her promise to have my cranial prosthetic ready and we agreed on a new deadline. Vee then called me the evening before the rescheduled pickup date of 21 June 2024, to inform me that the product was still not ready.She then attempted to put the blame at my feet, claiming that my alleged late request for a custom color was the reason why the bespoke cranial prosthetic was not ready. Then when I sent her a screenshot of our text messages, essentially refuting her claim, she again went silent. Crickets.The moment I requested a refund, as I never received the product by the two dates previously promised, text message communications from this merchant were no longer cordial.Vee finally agreed to issue a full refund. I was relieved when my bank account reflected a pending refund, but that joy was short lived. A week later, the pending refund DISAPPEARED.Six weeks after paying *********************** $4,291.19 for a customized cranial prosthetic which ultimately never materialized, I have yet to receive a refund.
