      I took my 57 Tbird to Pops Automotive Repair on August 37th of 2024. The car needed extensive work. The engine and transmission needed rebuilding. Over the course of the next 6 weeks I paid them 10,500.00. On 8/27/24 3,000.00, on 9/11/24 3,500.00, and on 10/8/24 4,000.00. Thry kept assuring me a quality job was being carried out and my car’s repairs were coming along nicely. My car would be finished in 2 weeks. These 2 weeks have gone on for months. I have made many phone calls and driven there a number of times. I have tried my best to be patient. My patience is gone. I simply want my car finished with a quality repair job and have my car returned . My car has been sitting outside all these months at one point coved in ash etc. the paint job was not very old and I had saved for 30 years to afford it. I am at my wits end can you help?

      I understand your concern; we were having troubles due to parts, and we had to undergo an unexpected move of locations. The move alone was a big setback that we had to quickly adjust to. What was holding us back most was the parts as this is a 1957 vehicle. I understand that this has been a long wait, but we tried our best dealing with the parts suppliers and the transmission rebuild that had to be completely redone that someone else had attempted to fix. With the transmission being the most difficult part of this job, we have finally received the rebuilt transmission, and this should move the process much more quickly. Once we get the vehicle over to our new location, we will install the rebuilt engine and transmission as promised. We will ensure that the vehicle is in the condition you brought it in and any concerns we will gladly work them out with you. Our focus is always to give our customers quality repairs that they can drive off and recommend their friends and family to their trusted mechanic. Thank you for your patience and understanding thus far.
