On March 5, 2023 I ordered and paid $90 for a custom grill from “bling cartel”. Their website states “100% satisfaction or get a free redo on your custom grill”. It is now June 25, 2023 and I still have not received the item I ordered. The tracking number they gave me states delivered June 3, 2023 but after speaking with the USPS on June 9, 2023, I found that the package was a 5”x 2”envelope with tracking info on it. Yet, “bling cartel” states it was in a box not an envelope. When I brought up this discrepancy to “bling cartel” I was met with rudeness and unhelpful responses. Now that it’s been over 3 months I can only hope my bank can do a charge back to get my money back since “bling cartel” did not put insurance on my package nor do they do refunds for “lost or stolen” items. And they said since it says delivered that insurance wouldn’t help anyways. Even though the USPS are the ones who informed me that the item should have had insurance. Mind you there’s no option on the website to provide insurance or pay for insurance yourself so the company is the only one that can even provide insurance coverage but did not. I have a voice message confirming the statements from the USPS. I have emails from “bling cartel” that I will be attaching. If possible I would like to send over the voice recording of the USPS statements.

    Business Response

    Date: 07/01/2023

In respond to Mr M*******’s complaint, here is what happened. Customer ordered a custom single cap tooth. After it was finished, a tracking number was provided to Mr M******* via email for the finished cap.

The package was delivered in Mr M*******’s mailbox on June 3rd 2023, 12:02 pm, according to the official USPS tracking number.

After delivery, the customer claims he did not receive the tooth cap package. We informed Mr M******* that USPS states that the package was indeed delivered to his confirmed address.

Mr M******* then continued to email us daily about the delivery. We repeatedly explained that the package is showing delivered and confirmed by USPS. The package was not “lost” in transit.

As we explained to Mr M*******, if the package tracking info in fact did not show it was delivered, we would gladly replace or refund the order, no need for insurance since we would cover it, no problem.

However, this was obviously not the case with Mr M*******’s order. The package was confirmed delivered to the address that Mr M******* provide us.

Mr M******* then told their bank  that “the product they received was defective or damaged” , when in fact Mr M******* claimed all along to us that it was “package not received”. Both statements cannot be true.

We will be submitting a response to Mr M*******’s bank and we are confident the bank will see through Mr M*******’s actions.

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:

This doesn’t explain why the post office said they delivered a envelope instead of a “box” as the business is trying to say. I’ve spoken (and recorded) the post office clearly saying it was an envelope. The post office simply delivered an envelope with the tracking number attached to it. The business never sent a box like they claim. The business claims it was delivered only because the tracking number was delivered. The “box” with the item in it was never actually sent with the tracking number.

    Regards,

    ***** M*******

Basically I purchased an item from this company maybe a week ago , received an email that my item was delivered on Feb. 18, 2023, & once I returned home the item was nowhere to be found. Immediately I emailed the company notifying them of the occurrence & was told all they can offers me is a discount count code which is non acceptable in my book!
