We hired RMG MARBLE & GRANITE *** to install and fabrication for our kitchen, fireplace, and title back splash. The work was not done correctly on installing the fireplace and the fireplace is now cracking. I first reached out to the owner **** on 2/9/2024 asking why this was happening. He said he didn't know but could fix it for $200. I reached back out 3/2/2024 to schedule a time to come out to do the repairs as it is getting bigger. Now he is too busy to help. I asked when he would be able to, and he said no idea because he's so busy. I know we had a problem right then. I had another company come out 3/4/2024 to see if they could repair it. I was told to reach out to the company who did the install as this was not set right and the cracks are called stress cracks. So, I reach out to **** again and he said sorry nothing he can do since the quartz wasn't purchased from him. The work has a year warranty on install and it wasn't set right so that's his fault. He's been no help. He told me good luck with what is going on and nothing he could do to help. This isn't right as I have a labor warranty for the install which the fireplace was installed wrong, but he doesn't want to take ownership to fix it.
