On June 12 at 7am I attempted to withdraw $800 from my Inland Valley Federal Credit Union account - using a shared-branch *** at Credit Union of ******************* on *************** in ******, **. Apparently, I did not retrieve the money in time. The *** machine took the money back and I noticed an error message stating that I did not remove the cash in the allotted time and that I should contact my Credit Union. I contacted a representative at Credit Union of ***** and was advised that I needed to contact Inland Valley because it was my Inland Valley account that needs to be adjusted, since I was making my withdrawal from that account. I contacted ********************************************* (via the message center in the website) and received no response. I sent several messages still with no response. I then called Inland Valley and was told that they could not help me because it was not their *** that I used. I called Credit Union of ***** and was told that Inland Valley must make the adjustment to my account and they cannot help me. I went in to Inland Valley Credit Union and asked to speak to the manager who was not available. I left a copy of my receipt for the transaction and my number. She never called me back. I called Inland Valley two more times and still have not been able to reach the manager, nor has anyone contacted me to let me know the status of my issue. I advised the Inland Valley representative that I wanted to close my account and was told I could not close it as there was a deposit pending. I am at my **** end. I just want this issue resolved and my $800 put back into my account. Thank you!Business Response

The member informed Inland Valley FCU on 6/12 hat she was at Credit Union of Southern ********** and did a withdraw at their ATM machine and didn't get the funds. She was referred back to the Credit Union of Southern ********** to file for an adjustment, We have no way to physically go to that credit union and balances their machines, they have 5 business days to balance out. in the meantime the next time we heard from the member was on 7/19/23 she brought her receipt in and said that Credit Union of Southern ********** has not helped her. Our *** who handles adjustments was out of the office on vacation from 7/17 tom7/31, when she returned she sent an adjustment to the Credit Union of Southern ********** and did a provisional credit to the members account for the $800.00 As of this date we have not had a response yet back from the Credit Union as to if the member is correct or not, and we advised the member it could come back that she did receive the money and if that happens we would have to deduct the $800.00 from her account. The member has spoken with the *** on 8/1/23 and understands the process.

In October/2022, I paid off my 2009 honda odyssey. I contacted inland valley Federal credit union as soon as my account showed paid in full to inquire on when I could expect my vehicles title. I started off by updating my address once that was complete the person on the phone said that it would take 3 weeks to recieve it at my new address. Approximately 1 month went by and I didn't receive it, so I called inland valley Federal credit union. They stated that it's been mailed, just give it a few more weeks. I waited till around Christmas time, to call once more. During this phone call I was told my title was pending. I followed up by asking. "If it was pending, why was I assured it was already sent by mail?". The manager had no Idea. I exclaimed that I feel I was lied to and she assured me I was not. I asked her to pull up the phone records of all my prior calls, to confirm. She apologetically said I don't know why they told you that. I followed up by recommending she as the Manger hold her employees accountable for lying to a customer. Before the conversation ended she ensured me that her dmv clerk will call me and explain to me why my title was pending. Yes you guessed it they never called. I proceeded two more times to call inland valley ( during business hours) and my phone call was forwarded to a third party call center. The call center person assured me I would be contacted by a manager to discuss my status. To his day I still have not received a follow up phone call. I believe something nefarious is occurring with this institution and it needs to be looked into. I believe they breached a contractual agreement in which I would pay off a vehicle and recieve the title.Business Response

I refinance my car loan with Inland Valley Federal Credit Union, previously it was with GM financial. Due to this economy I am behind on my car note since May. To avoid a repossession I took the car to CarMax were they are willing to purchase the car. Upon doing the paperwork with Carmax they discovered that Inland Valley never updated the lien from GM Financial to Inland at the DMV. Since Friday everyday I have been trying to get this resolve with Inland with no luck I keep getting transfer all over the place no one can help and the only person they claim could help is not answering calls or returning voicemails. I have emailed them also with no luck I have been turned away from the branch. They are rude and no help.Business Response

Dear ******
This is in response to a complaint filed by ***** ****** on 7/26/2022.
***** indicated that she wanted to sale her auto to CarMax as she and her joint maker on this loan was very delinquent. On 7/26/2022 I did receive her first email asking about the title on this auto. I was out of the office and on Vacation, therefore if any phone messages were left, I was not available to receive them, however I do have my emails forward to my cell phone.
When I had internet access, I replied to her on 7/27 letting her know I was out of the office and would in fact be in on 7/30/2022 and if she and her joint maker could come in and sign the DMV paperwork. Once the paperwork was signed the very next business day, I walked the paperwork over to the nearest DMV office and had to drop them, they have a commercial office in our county. They do not do any type of priority work. We are both at the mercy of the DMV. Considering the importance of getting this corrected, they did a fast process anyway.
I informed the members that the DMV added the title to the ELT system and that I also spoke with CarMax, and they indicated they could buy the auto based on the ELT system. From the joint makers advice, the soonest he was able to take the car to CarMax was 8/13 on a Saturday due to his work schedule. The car transaction was completed on that day.
I agree the DMV work should have been completed once the previous financial institute surrendered the title, this did in fact get overlooked and possibly wouldn't have had this loan not been made in haste in order to help the family out on a family emergency.
I believe her complaint is unfounded, I responded as quickly as possible. I was in contact with the joint maker regarding resolving the "delinquency" since January 7, 2022, since he was in possession of said auto and he was making the payments. To keep her in the loop we have made many phone calls to her with no response before they decided to sale the auto.
To my knowledge she was never present in the branch and turned away. We believe we have always been professional in dealing with any issues.
Attached is the string of emails regarding the DMV issue.
Sincerely,
******* *******
